It was a fantastic experience and I'm so pleased with the results. All the staff were helpful, friendly and chatty. As soon as I described the colour I wanted, Rachel knew exactly what to go for. I got a beautiful shade- even better than I imagined! Both Rachel and Marie were very gentle and my hands, nails and feet feel amazing!
I booked a manicure and pedicure at this salon, but unfortunately, on the day of my appointment, I was informed that the pedicure had been cancelled due to a staff member calling in sick. While I understand that these things can happen, the way it was handled left a lot to be desired. When I arrived, there were already two people working, and the man who appeared to be in charge explained the situation but didn’t offer any alternatives or solutions. I had to ask if I could come in the next day for the pedicure, and was told no—without any attempt to suggest another date or accommodate me in any other way. It was only at the end of my manicure, when I asked again, that I was given other date options. The overall service felt cold and unwelcoming. I wasn’t offered a drink or made to feel particularly comfortable. Additionally, the polish colour on the digital display did not accurately match the colour that was applied to my nails, which was disappointing. That said, the products used seemed to be of good quality, and I appreciated that they use fresh nail files for each customer—something that sets them apart. The manicure itself was okay; my nails were short, but the technician did buff and tidy them up. However, I left feeling underwhelmed. For £55 (including a small tip), it felt like poor value, especially when the experience didn’t feel friendly or professional. One of the staff even mentioned that he was leaving soon to become self-employed elsewhere, which, given his attitude, did not come as a surprise. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning.
3 MONTHS BUILDER GEL STILL GOING STRONG! I'm so impressed I just had to write a review. I came in with a really painful broken nail back in November 2024. The gentleman that did my nails was so sweet and detailed with his work I wish I could remember his name. Incredible job, not only with my finished manicure and the fixed broken nail but it's the end of February 2025 now and the builder gel is still growing beautifully with my natural nail (3rd pic with tiny bit left of the pink builder gel at the nailtip) Considering that I've had experiences elsewhere where my built nail broke in a week, this is truly impressive. So thank you to the gentleman for his amazing work and to Townhouse for hiring such skilled nail technicians 🙏🏻
The most stunning salon with the friendliest staff. My pedicure was with Harriet who took her time and paid the most amount of detail to the service! She was so lovely. My feet feel incredible and I couldn’t be happier with the treatment. They even have cocktails to enjoy whilst you have the best self care. Couldn’t recommend enough! Can’t wait to go back x
