This shop is top notch. It is clean and the artists are true professionals and great at what they do. I’m currently in the process of getting a cover up done by Jason Spainhour and it’s been a great experience (three sessions in) He set clear expectations, was a great listener during the initial consulting process, and has done beautiful work so far! Would give 10 stars if I could!
McKenzie Wilson aka Macbox20 blessed me with my spooky glow in the dark lava lamp 4 years ago and still one of my absolute favorite tattoos! I love showing everyone 🩷 Mac is a true angel on earth. Clean, respectful, and thorough 10/10
I’ve gotten two pieces done by Sarah Davis - the most recent pictured below. Along with being a stellar artist, she’s a responsible one too. She makes sure when working with a client on a design that it’s doable and will turn out well. That’s so important as this is one of those fields in which the customer is not always right, and they could end up with a permanent piece they later regret if an artist isn’t honest about a pitched design that won’t work. This tattoo was done on a really sensitive part of my arm (at least to me,) and the pain was not bad at all. The healing process has also went really well thanks to her advice, and they have different options depending on the client/tattoo. The studio itself is awesome. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. The space is very open. This is one of the best tattoo studios in town. I trust them as artists, their shop is immaculate in regards to cleanliness/safety, and they have so much talent under one roof. Thanks again Sarah!
I've been going to Michael Capone for my tattoos for years. His line work and fine details are fantastic. I sat for hours for him, and every tattoo has come out crisp and clean. Great guy, amazing artist, fast and accurate. I could not ask for better.
Tried & True is a professional shop. Directions for consultations are clear. I’ve had art done by Jason and Sarah. I have never had a bad experience with this shop! No randoms coming in to chat with your artist, everything is coordinated and any walk-ins are addressed professionally. I would give Jason and crew 10 stars if possible!
