My wife and I recently made a local move in Richmond, Virginia that required substantial downsizing. By the time moving day approached, we were fully stressed and exhausted. Two Men came to the rescue by arriving on-time and working hard all day. We bought lunch for them and ourselves. They never stopped for lunch, taking bites here and there as they kept working. We appreciated there diligence because it got the job done more quickly and the job was priced by the hour. Two Men's pricing was highly competitive. Other companies may send more people and get the job done faster, but their rates are higher, judging from the other quotes we got. Plus Twon Men's pre-move process was stress free. The inventory was done by video and seemed effortless and they communicated often. We never had to reach out to them. Unfortunately, one of the crew members inadvertently broke a custom glass bar top while reattaching it. He immediately called it to my attention and initiated a damage report himself. Because the glass was an unusual type and shape, the replacement cost as much as we paid for the move. Two Men couldn't have been more responsive. They patiently stayed in touch while I got an estimate for the replacement glass and immediately reimbursed me completely hassle free. I hate moving. I hope my next move won't be until I have to go to the cemetery. Either way, I hope Two Men handles it.
This was the third time I've moved with Two Men and a Truck. While it's all been local moving, I can say that they have been professional, quick, and timely. After the moved, this last team was certainly top of the field, and easy to work and communicate with on the day. In addition to their general demeanor and professionalism, I found the pricing to be reasonable, and would absolutely recommend them.
Our first experience using movers and we were very pleased! Very professional, polite, and courteous team. We received great communication throughout the process. We wouldn't hesitate to use Two Men and a Truck again!
I’ve been using Two Men and A Truck for the past 5 personal moves over the course of 8 years. I recently hired Two Men & A Truck to assist with packing and moving my mom from her home of over 45 years to an Independent Living facility. With that you have to be cognizant of the sensitive nature of this type of move. Larry and Andrew came out on Thursday to pack my mother’s things. They also had a choice to come back to move her things on Friday of which they accepted. Larry snd Andrew did an excellent job both days. They worked meticulously to ensure items ere packed and ready to be moved. They arrived promptly and waited patiently for me to arrive to my mother’s home to assist with coordination of the packing and moving. They were very sensitive and understanding and very patient both days. I really applaud their hard work as it is physical and grueling on the body, but they did it professionally and without complaint. On behalf of myself and my mother, we truly appreciate Larry and Andrew c/o Two Men & A Truck🥰
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Two Men and a Truck! From the very first phone call, Madison in the office set the tone—she was professional, patient, and extremely helpful in walking me through the process. She made scheduling simple and was quick to answer all of my questions, which gave me a lot of peace of mind going into moving day. When the big day arrived, Jay and Kenneth showed up and immediately got to work. They were both incredibly efficient, organized, and careful with every single item. They wrapped and protected my furniture, handled fragile pieces with care, and moved everything with a level of professionalism that exceeded my expectations. On top of that, they were both friendly, respectful, and had great attitudes throughout the entire move—which really helped ease the stress of the day. Thanks to Madison, Jay, and Kenneth, what could have been a difficult move turned into a seamless and even enjoyable experience. I truly appreciate the outstanding service and would not hesitate to recommend Two Men and a Truck to anyone in need of movers. If you get the chance to work with this team, you’ll be in great hands!
