Unchained.Art Contemporary Gallery is such a great local Austin gallery! Christina has curated an amazing collection with a wide range of artists, styles, and mediums — from paintings and sculptures to unique mixed-media pieces. There’s truly something for everyone. She’s incredibly passionate about what she does, super knowledgeable, and best of all, very approachable. I stumbled into this gallery with my family and had a lovely conversation with the owner. She was so friendly and knowledgeable and *actually* followed up with me after the visit when I expressed interest in one of the pieces! She ended up doing some art consulting for me and I bought two pieces I am so thrilled with. As a first-time art buyer, her warmth and guidance was very much appreciated. She represents local and international artists to meet a variety of tastes/preferences, and is just a total professional in all respects! Can't recommend enough.
The art gallery is amazing to visit! The curator, Christina is wonderful to talk to because she knows the artist personally and can explain in details what the art piece represents and the work that went into the master piece. I highly recommend you visit the gallery, even if you are not in the market to buy an art work. It is fascinating to look at different pieces every time I visit!
I absolutely LOVE Unchained Art Gallery. Christina has an eye for art that suits any taste. She makes amazing suggestions and introduces new art that is rich in color, creativity, and history of how it came to be. I love a good story behind a piece of fabulous art. Whether your budget is low or high, residential or commercial space, your first piece or your hundredth, this is the gallery for you! There are regular events to check out. Even stopping by is always a welcoming and easy experience. One of the best galleries in Austin!
Amazing gem in East Austin. Unchained.art the definition of diverse and inclusive art representation from Europe and North America incl. local artist from Austin. The owner, Christina, knows every piece in her gallery, the story behind it and the why from the artist. Her hospitality went beyond what I expected and she is trying to understand me as an art lover and how she can help brighten the walls at my home. There is not other place like this in Austin and decently worth the travels to get there, there is so much that I spend more than an hour there, and I will need to go back as Christina continuously updates the gallery with amazing pieces. Thank you for brighten my day, can’t wait to go back.
