I've been taking both of my children here for quite some time now and felt it was time to leave a review. My 5-year-old is enrolled in acting as well as a combined music and art class, and my 3-year-old also attends the combined music and art class. Both of my kids genuinely enjoy their lessons and have a lot of fun while learning. I've also appreciated all of the teachers we've worked with, they are fun, engaging, kind and patient! That said, I've found some of the office policies to be challenging. I've received differing information at times, and what I've been told verbally hasn't always aligned with what I signed regarding makeup classes, which has been confusing. Additionally, when the office is closed for holidays, the full monthly rate still applies even if a class is missed that month. There was also an instance when we arrived for class and no teacher was available. While an apology was offered, it was disappointing given the amount of coordination required for our family to attend, and a class credit would have been appreciated. On the other hand, when my children have been sick and unable to attend, makeup classes are not offered. I hope this is useful for others.
Cynthia is an amazing cello instructor! She has motivated my son to reach beyond what he thought he was capable of, inspiring confidence and a genuine love of learning. Under her direction, my son has grown tremendously in skill and self-assurance, and has developed a deep passion for the cello that continues to flourish.
I really liked the improv for adults class I took at United Conservatory of Music and Arts! The group was welcoming and we were all having a great time! The teacher Zeno helped me remember some improv fundamentals from my training back in high school. It was a nice way to start my Sunday. I would definitely sign up for their adult improv classes again!
UCM has been a total blessing for my kids and I. It gives us the opportunity to pursue our passion of music and learning instruments. The teachers are phenomenal. They connect with the students to promote learning . It is a safe environment for kids and adults. We always get excited when It is time for UCM lessons. Communication is very important and they make sure that they communicate with the parent and share all information needed for the kids Schedules or any other information needed to be passed across. I will recommend UCM anytime.
United Conservatory is definitely a 10/10. The teachers go above and beyond, the front office always has a positive attitude. The art programs are definitely something you wanna check out. Also if you’re looking to improve on your playing skills the woodwind studio is top notch, definitely able to prepare you or your child in advancing their music career rather it be getting back into music or preparing to get into college as a music major. (Flute, Clarinet, and Saxophone)
