I had a great experience at Varasano’s Pizzeria in Buckhead! The pizzas were flavorful with a perfectly thin crust, and the service was friendly. I especially enjoyed the garlic bites and the unique pizza tasting experience — definitely worth a visit if you’re in Atlanta. 🍕✨
This is the Pizza Perfectionist!! Wow!! Better than The Pizza in Italy! I just came back from Italy and was talking to friends about how amazing their pizza was and have just found the best place in America! Better than Italy’s. The dough The sauce The ingredients The flavor The texture The taste was Just out of this world experience!!! The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, the sauce is flavorful, not heavy and the cheese just melts in the best way possible. Every bite feels like pizza perfection. I could eat this every day!

The Papas Pene with sausage and arugula was another standout—savory, peppery, and satisfying. What makes Varasano’s even better is how well it lends itself to ordering multiple dishes and sharing with friends. The service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing, and the free parking is a huge plus in Atlanta. Stopped by on a Sunday around 12:30. Parking in the back was convenient. Not crowded. Quickly seated. Friendly service. Pizza was good. Salad was okay. As with all reviews it’s subjective. From all the reviews, many do enjoy. For us, just wasn’t our preference compared to other Neapolitan places.
We had such an incredible experience at Varasano’s! My husband booked the pizza tasting with Mr. Varasano himself, and it was beyond our expectations. He personally prepared three pies with 12 different flavors, using the freshest ingredients — many of them grown right outside the restaurant. As he cooked, he shared stories and insights from his own journey, which made the evening feel personal and memorable. Every bite was outstanding, and the passion he puts into his craft really shines through. Highly recommend this unique and delicious experience!
