⭐️☆☆☆☆ 1-Star Review Extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience. I properly canceled my membership while my account was in good standing, exactly how VASA Fitness instructed me to. I followed every step they told me to follow and even received confirmation that my cancellation request was submitted. Despite doing everything correctly, I later started receiving collection emails claiming I owe money, which is completely inaccurate. I moved out of state and was never notified of a legitimate balance before this was sent to a debt collector. This feels like a billing system failure and poor internal communication, and now I’m being harassed over a balance that should not exist. A gym should not be sending former members to collections after confirming cancellation. I expected professionalism and accountability instead, I’m dealing with stress and unnecessary disputes over something that should have been closed properly from the start. I would not recommend VASA Fitness unless you are prepared to document everything and fight billing errors after cancellation.
I joined VASA just three weeks ago and was genuinely excited to get started. I signed up for the STUDIO membership and unlimited KidCare, expecting a smooth, family-friendly experience. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. From the beginning, policies were not clearly communicated. I learned only after the fact that KidCare appointments are automatically forfeited after 20 minutes late — something not stated in the KidCare agreement. I later asked staff directly about booking back-to-back KidCare appointments and was told that if the app allows it, it’s permitted. Based on that guidance, I regularly booked back-to-back appointments so I could work out, take a class, and recover in one visit. On Wednesday, I booked KidCare from 6:15–6:30 and 6:30–8:00, checked my children in, and began my workout. At 7:52 PM, I received a call from the KidCare manager, Karina, who was extremely upset and accused me of being late for pickup at 6:30 and told me I would be charged significant late fees. When I calmly explained that I had two appointments, she denied it and implied I was lying. Only after that did she mention a “new policy” requiring parents to return and re-check children between appointments — a policy no one had ever told me about. I spoke with the General Manager the next day, believing we had resolved things. She acknowledged that the policy had not been shared and said she would note my account so member support could see what happened. However, the actual note placed on my account inaccurately states that I needed to be reminded to speak to staff with respect, which is completely false. I was calm, respectful, and explicitly told them I wanted a peaceful, pleasant experience — not conflict. Worse, the note does not reflect the real issue (lack of communication about a new policy) or the $30 late fee I was told I would have to dispute with member care. When I contacted member care, I was then told that the gym itself must handle exceptions, leaving me stuck in the middle with no resolution. This experience has been upsetting and discouraging. I joined VASA to improve my health, not to be accused, mischaracterized, or charged fees due to unclear and inconsistently enforced policies. Until communication, accountability, and member support improve — especially for parents using KidCare — I cannot recommend this gym.
Showers could’ve Been cleaner but they actually played amazing music the whole time I was here! If you’re a hip hop Head. Sauna is also a big plus
This place is alright half of the machines dont work ! Cardio machines any equipment is broken most of the time and its rarely clean i dont know why we pay the cleaning they should waive that i come here everyday and nothing changes but gotta make it work dont have any other gym i hope they see this and get this fixed !
This gym is really good. It’s usually clean and has the equipment you need. When the equipment is down, it usually doesn’t take them long to fix it. The staff is always great especially Marquise and Leo at the front desk, who I interact with the most. Would recommend this gym to anyone!
