My husband and I came here for a medical Emergency for our 2 month old kitten named Nacho. The team was exceptional! They understood the issue, and did everything they could to make us and Nacho feel comfortable. These situations can be very scary but the staff showed so much attention and care! Nacho ended up staying over night and the team was amazing! Julie, Dr Fedele and Aley, thank you so much for everything! For the team that did Nachos intake and cared for her as soon as we arrive, we thank you all so much as well. What an amazing team! Also they gave us a comprehensive care plan to follow at homes and ensured that we knew we could always call and ask as many questions as needed.
Had to bring my baby Chewie in because he was having bladder issues. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. They were quick, efficient and all so kind. The whole staff was very attentive and great with my dog even tho he was very nervous. The doctor explained every step and the diagnostics in great detail. Dr. Susie was empathetic but also very professional. The facility itself was very clean and welcoming. I usually don’t write good reviews but this place was exceptional ! Thank you all!!
My dog Ella was recently diagnosed with pyometra and needed emergency surgery, and I can honestly say this has been one of the most emotional experiences of my life. The team at VEG ER in Clifton carried us through it with compassion, reassurance, and extraordinary care, for both my dog and for me. From the very first phone call, they helped calm my anxiety and made me feel like we weren’t alone. But I especially need to thank Rob, one of the nurses. I don’t even have the words to describe how grateful I am for him. He was there every single second for Ella, treating her as if she were his own. My dog is reactive and cautious with strangers, yet she absolutely adored him, to the point where she cried when he left the room. Watching him work with her, with so much patience, love, and genuine kindness, was incredible. He was truly God sent in this moment and made this impossible experience bearable. He deserves his own review, his own recognition, and all the thanks in the world. I would also like to thank Dr. Lynch, who explained everything thoroughly and clearly, while still showing so much warmth. She didn’t just talk about surgery, she knelt down and loved on my girl right away. Ella felt calm with her, and that told me everything I needed to know. And Dr. Pentavalli was wonderful from the very beginning. She was the first doctor to see Ella and helped me understand what was happening when I was terrified and overwhelmed. She was kind, informative, and patient, and I will always be grateful for that. Lastly, the entire staff deserves recognition. Everyone we met, from the doctors and techs to the wonderful front desk team, was compassionate and understanding. They didn’t just care for my dog; they cared for me, too. A special thank you to Ariel at the front desk. She was amazing and helped keep me calm through everything with her kindness and reassuring words, and that meant more than she knows. I can only say good things about this place. They saved my Ella, and they treated us with so much humanity along the way. From the bottom of my heart, thank you VEG ER Clifton, and especially Rob. You will never know how much you meant to us during this time.
We visited VEG of Clifton, NJ today with our 7 year old St. Usage Spaniel. He had a possible obstruction. The staff was so busy with many emergencies but they remained attentive and engaged with each family throughout the time spent in their care. Dr. Susan Rothstein is one of the most compassionate attentive Veterinarians at the practice. She ensured his care was appropriate, monitoring his progress with each test. We spent enough time there to witness several doctors, technicians, sonographers, Rad-Techs, Vet Tech and staff to say with confidence these amazing people are doing the work of Angels, Saints and God Himself. I highly recommend using their services should you need emergency care for your pets.
