The salon is always very clean and welcoming, and the staff are very friendly. The online booking system is very easy to use and I can usually get an appointment quickly. I’ve been seeing Idalys for a couple of months now and she is wonderful. I look forward to our monthly yapping sessions, and she does a fantastic job with the wax. Super thorough, and FAST! Even going fast, she isn’t rough or anything and I actually feel like her waxes have hurt less than other people I’ve gone to in the past. I highly recommend Velvet Waxing and Idalys!
Excellent service performed by Lily today (6/28/25). My back wax, upper arm wax and nose wax services were super smooth. The experience has been amazing and I’ll definitely be returning in the future. I wish I had found this place sooner!
Don't even have words! This was my first time at Velvet and my first Brazilian/booty wax (go big or god home, right?) I was so nervous going in there not knowing what to expect. IDALYS you are amazing! Not only is she a great talker and keeps your mind off what's going on down below, she spent time answering all my questions and concerns, also brought education to my mind about sugar waxing. She also was very considerate about asking me if the temperature of wax was ok on every different location, making sure I was comfortable the whole time, let me take breaks to stretch out my legs or if I needed a minute. Thank you for a great first experience! Can't wait to come back!
Whitney is my favorite! (I get brazilians done by her) She is very good at what she does - she uses the right stuff, it’s very meticulous & makes the experience less painful with her expert techniques. I appreciate her level of detail & could not recommend her enough. She’s worth every penny.
Idalys was wonderful! This was my first time here. It has been a long time since I took the time to go out and get my eyebrows done. I looked online for awhile at a ton of different places but felt good about this place and all of their wonderful reviews and returning clients. I'm so glad I chose this place. Everyone there was very nice. The place was beautiful and the energy felt inviting and light. Idalys talked me through each step and was so detailed and kind. I ended up getting my eyebrows waxed and tinted. She did such an amazing job getting my eyebrows to just about match the color of my roots. I will absolutely be returning and can't wait to go back!
