Dany was very knowledgeable with years of experience. He answered our groups’ many questions with patience and passion. We learned a lot of information about wines and were introduced to a new vocabulary. Thank you Dany for a memorable evening for our family!
A remarkable collaborator and an exceptional professional. I worked with Dany as part of McGill University’s Cancer Prevention Centre gala, A Toast to Prevention: The Wine* Experience, held on October 25, 2025. The event combined non-alcoholic tastings, curated food pairings, and education on the link between alcohol consumption and cancer risk. Whether he was presenting on stage in our Sommelier Showcase before 300 guests or engaging one-on-one with attendees during the tasting reception, Dany was truly extraordinary from start to finish. Dany has a rare ability to anticipate needs before you even voice them. He consistently offered thoughtful, highly practical suggestions that strengthened the entire event. He curated and provided the kosher catering and the cheese selection — all of which received glowing praise from our guests. Many told us it was the best salmon, the best cheese, or the best avocado bite they had ever had. Beyond the food and beverage experience, he contributed ideas that elevated the gala’s logistics, flow, and overall impact. His presence made my work as the event planner significantly lighter; he simply gets things done seamlessly, with professionalism and genuine care. Dany’s on-stage talk deeply resonated with our guests and sparked meaningful reflection about their own relationship with wine and mindful consumption. Most meaningful of all, Dany invested himself in the cause. His support for cancer prevention was heartfelt and deeply appreciated. Collaborating with someone who not only delivers excellence but also believes in the mission adds an entirely different level of purpose to the work. From his kindness and initiative to the ease of communication and his remarkable professionalism, Dany exceeded every expectation. I would collaborate with him again in a heartbeat, and I recommend him with the highest enthusiasm.

Fantastic experience. The whole session was perfectly crafted to our group’s desired wine categories, as well as to the menu! It was packed with interesting and pertinent information. Dany took us on a journey, even for the most knowledgeable of wine drinkers.
To be perfectly honest, I was skeptical of Dany. The sheer amount of positive reviews was too good to be true. It’s not. Dany is truly masterful of the craft. I must say, I had an absolutely amazing time learning from Dany, and so did the other 13 people that were with me. I couldn’t have asked for a better time learning and trying out some really fun wines. Another thing: we should have chosen the food pairing. Highly regret opting not to get the food, but Dany still gave us a few bites to really understand the food and wine pairings. I’m sure whatever Dany had available would have made this experience even better.
