Vitality Tap est un café et bar à jus dynamique situé à l'intérieur de Discount Nutrition sur First Avenue à San Diego. Staff was friendly. Food was tasty, as expected. I walked to it from my hotel; area was nice and seemed safe. Restaurant was counter service only with no indoor seating. There are a few tables out front. Inside has a health food grocery store vibe. I got a classic açai bowl. The açai blend was perfect. The toppings were good but there was a limit of three, which seemed cheap and very limiting compared with any açai bowl place I've ever patronized. A more typical bowl would include a few fruits, like banana, strawberries, and maybe blueberries, as well as granola, honey, and maybe peanut butter or coconut or pumpkin seeds, et al. I guess if you want more than a total or three toppings on your açai, then they would probability nickel and dime you for each topping. I just got three toppings: blueberries, mango, and cacao nibs. As I mentioned, it was good. Hard to mess up on whole foods and açai blend.
This place is awesome when you walk in the you’ll see an amazing health/nutrition store. Inside is the cafe with the freshest açaí bowl I’ve had in a long time!!! The portion was big and it was so delicious. Freddie and the girls working inside were so accommodating and welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Definitely would come back.
Went to grab a quick smoothie around 10am on a Tuesday. Ordered the pistachio paradise and it was ready in 5 minutes. It was absolutely delicious and a good serving size as well. The cafe is inside the Discount Nutrition store which has lots of protein powders and nutrition bars and stuff.
Vitality Tap had the best service! My friends and I were visiting San Diego and Freddy helped us with the best experience ever! He was so hospitable and funny; giving the best recommendations and we really enjoyed our bowl! The ube latte was also exceptional! I’m Filipino so im very particular with my ube and it hit the spot! 100/10 recommend.
I had a delicious and freshly made green juice to start my day. The PB & Acai was the best Acai Bowl I've ever tasted. Excellent variety of toppings. Coffee and other food is available too! Owner and staff were kind and helpful. I will definitely be returning soon ☺️
