My husband and I had never taken a dance lesson in our lives and we didnt know what to expect for our first dance (wedding). Don was kind patient and worked with us and our hectic schedule. We took our time and spent over a year working through our dance together and everytime Don took the time and care to come up with a stunning dance that was just the right level of difficult and fit our music beautifully. Our guests loved it and we loved doing it!
The Best Dance Instructor!! Don Made Our First Dance Unforgettable! We cannot say enough amazing things about Don! From our very first lesson, he made us feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely excited to dance together. His pricing was extremely reasonable, and he was so flexible with scheduling, which was a huge help during the chaos of wedding planning. Don was incredibly creative and thoughtful. He choreographed movements that worked with our height difference (my husband is 6’8” and I’m 5’6”) and still made everything look effortless and natural. On our wedding day, our dance was an absolute showstopper. There were gasps at the lift, applause during several of the moves, and so many compliments afterward. It was truly one of the highlights of the entire evening. Don’s teaching style is second to none—patient, fun, and easy to follow. We always left each lesson smiling, and by the big day, we felt completely ready!! We can’t recommend Don enough! If you want a first dance that feels natural, looks incredible, and wows your guests—he’s the one to call!
Don is an amazing dance instructor! In a matter of 2 months he took two people with two left feet and a fear of dancing in front of people and turned us into dancing machines. Our first dance at our wedding was magical and everything we dreamed it would be thanks to his help! We will definitely be coming back in the future for more lessons as dancing has gone from something we were afraid to do to something that is exciting and we want to learn more about! We highly recommend Volta Dance Studio!
Don is amazing to work with! We had a pretty ambitious idea for our first dance, especially with very little dancing experience, but Don made it happen. He's been great at meeting us where we're at and working around our atypical schedules.
Don is amazing! My husband and I used him for our wedding since neither one of us dance and we were nervous about the first dance. So glad we went!! He came up with an awesome choreographed first dance for us that looked incredible the day of. We had so many compliments from people. On top of looking good on our wedding day, our lessons were always so much fun. It became a date night for us and was a good way to relieve the stress of the wedding planning. I felt like it was a really good bonding experience for us. And Don is so much fun to work with. He would have us cracking up every time we were there. We actually intend on continuing lessons with him now the wedding is over because we found a new hobby for us in doing this!
