Interesting shop. Rude staff who answer questions in an annoyed manner. Maybe because we're tourists? You should follow the customers. Today you lost two who were interested in buying.
Helpful, friendly staff and a cool assortment of vintage clothes. Found my dream cropped leather jacket. This location has a smaller but nicer selection than the one at Grassmarket. Can’t wait to go back.
This place is fantastic! Such an array of wonderful vintage garments. I was on the hunt for some tweed jackets for my husband and was so annoyed with all the copy-paste goods in the shops along the Royal Mile. Nothing had character or craftsmanship. I walked into Armstrong & sons and it was such a delightful reprieve. The shop is rather large for its location. Plenty of used/vintage garments at decent prices. We will be back!
Great vintage shop with superb organization! The tops and skirts were organized by size. Prices are reasonable and the staff was pleasant and friendly.
While we were on our way to look for Bobby’s statue, this colorful store caught our attention. There are plenty of vintage stuffs in there. from clothings, tv, phones to clocks & etc… some were recycled for different purposes which are amazing! Examples: old clothings being recycled as cover for fitting room & the old tv screen being recycled as sizes conversion chart! Be prepared that most of the items are not first hand or clean though but the vintage value is definitely there.
