PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING - This company is a scam. They lied to us, tried to commit fraud and are very difficult to get ahold of and to deal with. Below is the full story of what happened for context if you have time to read: I do not usually leave reviews like this but based on my experience over the last couple of months I want as many people to be aware of this scam of a company as possible. My parents ordered furniture through Vincent at the end of November, over the last couple of months they have heard no updates or anything related to their delivery (originally told 2-3 weeks). My mom went into the store last week to check in on it and was directed to use their customer service number. Over the last 2 weeks their customer service was super hard to get a hold of via txt, and they would not answer their phone. They told us that our order would not be able to be fulfilled and we were entitled to an exchange. We wanted a full refund at this point and this company sent us a fake receipt where they added a stamp saying that we agreed to a final sale order with no refunds. They added this stamp after the fact, because we have a paper copy of the receipt without the stamp. We dealt with multiple people over txt, many of whom gave my mom sassy and condescending responses, and only when I threatened to claim fraud on my credit card and get the law involved did someone finally call me to get this resolved. Jaydon was the only person who ever called me and she was very helpful in getting this resolved. This wasted countless hours of my time and was a total mess to deal with. I have texts to prove that they tried to scam us by putting on the “final sale” stamp after the fact. Please save yourself the time and energy and buy your furniture somewhere else. It is not worth it.
Edited: Very friendly. I visited several shops. This place had very competitive furniture and better quality than most. After I got the bed home. I found two of the brackets were put on upside down. lol For me it’s easy to fix but not for everyone. I got a great deal and now I know why. Still would make the same purchase. Solid hardwood bed and super comfy black label mattress.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. We went to the local store in the Valley. Had no pressure, casual conversations, everything seemed fine att first. We went to look for a mattress but wound up with a mattress and a sectional couch. We were told mattress was local and we would be able to pick up at the end of the week- that was the ONLY thruthful thing we were told. We were told our sectional had to be transfered in from another warehouse house and it would be 2-4 weeks but that it's usually closer to 2 weeks since it's a transfer. Seemed pretty reasonable and I had no reason to question it since the place is COVERED in "Store Closing" signs including the one in the parking lot you can see from Mars, that also states, "Everything Must Go" 2.5 weeks go by, we decided to call and check the status and we were told to call the warehouse and even provided the phone number. My BF called and to our absolute shock, he was told it had arrived in customs..what?!? Our warehouse transfer came from another country?!? Certainly, that couldn't be accurate- it was though. At 3 weeks, we're told it would "be in on Friday and could pick up Saturday" worked without schedule so okay. Called to be certain on Saturday- was told it had to be 'allocated' and we could pick up Monday. My blood by now is starting to increase- but okay, 2 more days. And we are at week 4. Monday (November 3rd) I receive a random call from a lady (Jayden) who spoke faster than frog on a hot skillet and when asked to repeat herself, she acted annoyed and slowed down so much- she was speaking to me like I was an idiot- and then continued to tell me how the connex box they had previously understood sustained slight water damage turned out to be completely water damaged- but don't worry, we have your couch on "expedite" and she threw something in there about the 18th of November making me think it was going to arrive on the 18th. No, it wasn't going to be shipped out until the 18th- which was in 15 days- and wouldn't arrive until til mid to end of December. We purchased our sectional on Oct 9th. Of course- I wasn't happy. BF wasn't happy. We were flat out told we were not allowed a refund per company policy but we're offered an exchange. Per the document we signed, we weren't allowed to cancel or exchange, but nothing was documented about a refund. We spent a couple of days thinking about it and went over to the other location in Spokane. The gentleman there was very polite and helpful as we browsed the store trying to find an acceptable option. Again, everything is noted with "Store Closing" signs and some items are marked "sold" with a customers name. The employees started unboxing BRAND NEW furniture and was proudly boasting about all the new stuff coming in. We found a smaller version of the sectional we purchased and he tells us how the bigger version was inbound. (Meaning my couch) He was telling us about the sale and tells us the amount for the bigger version (same price off his tongue as the 'deeply discounted' price we were given) and tells us how Vince is the sales manager and can give us a better pricing and what a great guy he is. Funny, that is who sold us our items! We head back to the Valley and go straight for the store. We are greeted by Vince who can hardly remember us and how my BF had called him to check on our sectional. My Bf asked him. About it- oh yea, he forgot or whatever that excuse was. My BF located our selection-low and behold- it's brand new. How do I know this? Because the previous floor model was filthy from customers and I had even made a specific comment about that at time of purchase- this one was brand new, clean and cushion were still taking shape. MY COUCH. But hey, the store was filled with brand new furniture that wasn't there before. The store is not closing per Vince- they are moving. This company is a SCHAM . We threatened the AG and we got our money back and also discovered we were lied to about the pricing as well. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!! SAVE YOUR TIME, SANITY and MONEY.
Bought a sectional from wallaroos in August, delivered in October, here it is in November. The couch is not worth the over$900 i paid for it. Their customer service is convoluted at best. They offered to swap it out with the same piece of junk. Furniture here is low quality and not worth your time or money. Selling trash like this is unacceptable.
I keep getting these flyers saying Wallaroo’s “MUST CLOSE OUR STORE” and “everything must be liquidated.” Funny thing is, they’ve been “closing” for like a year now and they’re still open. How is that not false advertising? This kind of thing feels super sketchy and honestly should fall under Washington’s Consumer Protection Act (RCW 19.86) which literally says businesses can’t make misleading claims. If you’re not actually closing, don’t say you are. Also, those “up to 80% off” prices? Pretty normal once you actually look. It’s just fake urgency to get people in the door. Be real with your customers. I would not shop here on principle, if your ads are lying I’m sure your sales team is just as bad if not worse.
