I do not recommend shopping here, where it is normal to follow a black woman throughout a store in 2025. The beginning of my shopping experience was fine. The vintage objects are beautiful, although expensive, and in incredible condition. Until I made my way to the back of the store, where I seemed to have caught the eye of a woman who works behind the register. She trailed closely behind me for the remainder of my time in the store. I am a vintage collector myself and it is incredibly disappointing that in all my experiences shopping at antique stores, this was a first. A sad experience. Think twice before supporting this business.
First time visiting Warehouse 55 in Chicago. It has some fun and unique antiques small and large. It's the holiday season so there is a lot of Christmas decor - a large variety of trees ornaments (plastic, glass and mercury glass), pillows, Christmas trees, Santa's, etc. Next on the list is to visit their larger second location in Aurora, IL. 🎄🎅🏼❄️⛄🎁
Warehouse 55 always has intriguing pieces to admire. Glassware, furniture, rugs, fine art are all on display. The vignette are thoughtful and treasures can be found.
Gorgeous store! I was bummed I got there about an hour before they close, as I could've easily spent HOURS there with how much cool stuff there was to dig through. Their items are far pricier than what you'd find at a thrift store, but you're paying for the convenience of well-curated, quality antiques in a comfortable environment. I bought a gorgeous bust from Greece and a brass basket-weave tray. I definitely plan to come back again!
Friendly, helpful Staff. AMAZING items-I literally fell IN LOVE with several pieces. And yes, things can be a bit pricey but, you can find some lovely deals. And NOTHING I saw wasn't worth the money.
