While I cannot personally speak to the quality of other roofers, I can attest that Kris and his team did a phenomenal job with replacing my very old roof. From quote to construction to final billing, Kris was very good about communicating what absolutely did and did not need to be done, and the construction crew worked very quickly and left nothing behind during cleanup. Didn’t hurt that the price was also quite reasonable. When I eventually get my windows replaced, based on this experience, weathertight will absolutely be my first call.
This is the second home where Weathertight has completed siding and gutter work for me, and once again, their craftsmanship is outstanding. The crews are professional, courteous, meticulous and efficient. Communication with the project manager was seamless and they were incredibly flexible in accommodating project adjustments. I’m absolutely thrilled with the final result - thank you for another exceptional experience!
Kris and the Weather Tight team were super awesome to work with. He gave us a prompt estimate and helped with insurance questions and strategy. He was also super patient with us finalizing budget and choosing colors. I appreciated the low pressure approach and the estimate was actually less than 2 other companies we had come take a look. The new roof was done very quickly (1-2 days) and looks great. Kris was helpful with choosing the colors and type of gutters. Would recommend (and did to my neighbor who was impressed with how fast they got it done)!
While a carpet installer was pulling up the old carpet, we discover some rotten flooring, which eventually led us to a hidden leak in a small corner of our roof. Kris came out to inspect, pointed it out right away, but also showed us that the entire side portion under that corner was rotten and soft to the touch. Kris sent me an overly reasonable estimate, I accepted and he gave me a rough timeline. It just so happens that I had to leave the country for an emergency leaving my brother to manage the project and my home. Our dad was a carpenter. We were always involved in remodel projects, building, framing, you name it. We've reroofed several of our own homes. If we were younger, we'd have done it ourselves. The project was completed when I returned home. Kris sent me pictures and my brother watched his team closely ;) saying that they did their job well. Thank you Kris! I am grateful for your business.
We first hired Weather Tight in 2008 to replace the roof on our Middleton home. They were recommended by a local Realtor friend and underbid better known roofers that buy a lot of advertising. They were honest, did a great job and ended up replacing five roofs on our block that summer! All of us came away happy as have many other friends who have used them over the past 14 years. Weather Tight has since expanded their business to include siding, windows, doors, etc. In 2022 we hired them to replace our aging siding with LP SmartSide engineered wood, our windows, exterior doors, soffits, fascia, and gutters – every exterior surface except the 2008 roof that remains sound. Kris and his crew are very detail oriented and take pride in their work. Once begun, they stayed on the job until it was complete. When some issues with our house were uncovered during the job they adjusted and addressed them as well. We are happy with the products they used, the quality of the work, the house’s appearance after completion and the ease of working with Kris and his team.
