I have been going to Westend for over 10 years. My hair always looks great. The staff is friendly and polite. Will not go anywhere else
I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend this salon for the Japanese thermal straightening treatment. After having it done over two weeks ago, I have been desperately trying to save my hair. I've had this procedure done before and my hair always felt beautiful afterwards, what happened? I fear my hair will have to be cut short again. Deep conditioning treatments have helped slightly, but my usual stylist said the breakage to my hair is pretty severe. I'm so depressed.
ozzie damaged my hair by running his brush through it and pulling the knots instead of working through the knots gently. now my hair is broken and has short strands sticking up everywhere after YEARS of growing it out long and not having this problem. i told him ouch when he was pulling on the knots because it was hurting my hair. mind you, i also said this is the first salon i'm going to after years because of a bad experience in the past with a stylist not listening and cutting it too short. i'm devastated that after years of growing out my long hair, i now i have short and small strands sticking up around my head because he shows to be rough with my wavy, fine hair instead of gentle.
Marcie is a great stylist. She is the only person I've trusted to do my hair since moving here. I had my previous stylist for 30 years and was afraid to change. I'm happier than I've ever been with my cut and color. I highly recommend this salon and Marcie.
Super good service! I suggest you go in before your planned date to book an appointment because they’re usually packed! I went in on a Wednesday to book and got my appointment on a Saturday. They’re very friendly and listen to whet you envision your hair to be. I wanted a fun color and they gave me that but made sure they wouldn’t cause further damage to my hair. Originally I was okay to bleach it but they suggested otherwise and gave me a keratin treatment as well. :) Definitely coming back!
