We would just like to thank Whinney hill for their excellent care of our St Bernard Oscar. Stevie, Elaine and all the staff at this kennels looked after Oscar both professionally and lovingly. Our dog was unwell when we were away and Whinney Hill took him to the Vets administered the treatment prescribed and updated us regularly on his progress. It is always reassuring that your dog is being cared for like it is their own dog and I would recommend this kennels to everyone. Thankyou
Our big lab Darky is 9 years old and he's a very anxious and stressful dog and suffers with arthritis. We were concerned about putting him back into kennels after a couple of very bad experiences in other kennels until we found Whinney hill boarding kennels. They were very understanding about his conditions and assured us that they would walk him little but often and even put him in with other nervous labradors. He's been there 3 times now and we wouldn't put him anywhere else. The staff are awesome and so super friendly, and Darky loves it. Thank you so much to all the staff at Whinney hill for all the hard you do. Darky can't wait to see you all next year.
Meant to write a review last year after Patch's first stay, and he's just after his second stay. Both bookings were for a week and we definitely struggled with guilt leaving our pup, BUT, we wouldn't leave him anywhere else. The team at WHK is fab and made sure we were kept up to date with how he was getting on, we got great photos too! It's a really good sign that when you're leaving your pup looks to the staff with affection rather than fear etc. Boarding may not be cheap in general, but if you have no other option, we couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you for taking such great care of our pup ☺️
A nice quiet park for the whole family. A great place to walk your dog. Very easy access, very easy exit to the A2 motorway and A 3. Close to the Tesco Lidl supermarket, great rest, quick shopping, I'm going home
