My move was probably more difficult than most. I have lots of heavy musical gear and computers. And it was very well hidden in my original house. As I started pre-packing, I realized the amount was enormous. I could barely move many of the large boxes myself. In came a team of 4 medium-sized guys, but they were STRONG! I couldn't believe how they carefully lifted things effortlessly - and retaped my boxes to prevent them ripping. They FILLED their truck front to back and top to bottom with my stuff. And then they went the whole 8.5 hours with only a lunch break. They were unstoppable and never lost focus or got sloppy. I held off this review until I had unpacked everything and knew they didn't have any accidents I didn't know about. But now I can safely say they didn't have ANY breakage. I am now completely moved into my new home and am thankful that the A-team they sent made this such a stress-free experience.
I selected White Glove Moving to handle the fairly large move from a home I'd been in for decades to a new location two hours away in another state largely on the basis of these reviews and the apparent professionalism on view on their website... and then some phone conversations with Mike G. of the sales management team. For the largest part I was not disappointed. Mike was a great resource throughout... friendly, fair, knowledgeable and patient. Due to delays in my moving schedule, Gaby was out to the house twice to provide estimates and working with him was also a top-notch experience. When it came time for the actual move, the team led by Emad and Ezzat (special kudos to Ricardo as well) did amazing work. They handled all my special requests extremely well and went above and beyond in multiple cases to make things better, sometimes anticipating needs and improvement opportunities I'd never thought of. And as I told them myself, I have literally never seen such hard workers in my entire life... these folks worked their butts off. I had a less than stellar experience with Customer Care after the fact... clueless phone reps and an attitude-y adjuster for the few small issues that arose... but the rest of the team performed so well I'm going to leave the rating at 5 stars.
I have moved over 20 times in my lifetime, and this was the 2nd worst moving experience I have ever had. Not one, not two, not three, ...but multiple items were broken or damaged. In addition, multiple items were assembled incorrectly. The people that actually moved the items into my home couldn't have cared less about our things. Unfortunately, I took the minimum insurance. If you plan to use White Glove, make sure to get the "repair and/or replace" insurance to save yourself of major headaches. Simply, I would not recommend using this moving company.
I got scammed by my previous “moving company” and had to book White Glove Moving the day before my move. The people at White Glove Moving went above and beyond to fit me in with my tight schedule and I am forever grateful!! Francisco and his team showed up on time and completely blew my mind with their efficiency and attention to detail. As a perfume collector I had already packed 80+ bottles of perfume in preparation for the move. Francisco saw how fragile they are and INDIVIDUALLY PACKED EACH BOTTLE AGAIN. That was insane. They also cleaned up so well after carefully packing up my furniture. I’m so so grateful for White Glove Moving and Francisco and his team because this would not have been possible without them! Thank you all so much!!!
An amazing experience from start to finish! The professionalism and friendliness should be the standard for every company. We have used moving companies in the past, but White Glove is by far the best we have hired. Oscar the foreman led a top-star team, handling a drizzly day without any issues. Nothing broken. Heaviest furniture moved without any complaints. Bravo!
