We had a great day out with Wes - three vineyards all with totally different character and personalities of wine and makers - plus we got a kangaroo sighting for our sceptical UK visitors - a great group and a great tour
We spent the day with the wonderful Wes from Wine Tours Adelaide, and it couldn’t have been better! Wes has such passionate local knowledge of the Barossa Valley, its winemakers, and the surrounding Adelaide region - plus a fantastic sense of humour that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. He shared fascinating local insights and took us to some incredible “off-the-grid” but truly spectacular wineries. The relationships between Wes and the winemakers were clearly genuine, and we felt so welcomed everywhere we went. Lunch at The Greenock was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to break up the day. We honestly can’t recommend this tour highly enough, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish!
We had the best time on our wine tour last weekend!! Emma was so attentive and sent through an idea of an itinerary beforehand and it was all organaised so easily. Wes was our driver and brought 12 girls around all day he has the patience of a saint! He was great fun and we all really enjoyed our weekend Would definitely recommended to anyone thinking of doing a wine tour in Adelaide 😊
Couldn’t recommend this company more highly! We had a fantastic experience. Emma and Wes picked great wine and lunch spots for our group of 30, and they were very accommodating of any changes we needed to make. We had a lot of interstate people and the locations chosen were perfect to showcase the best of Adelaide Hills wine. Communicating with Emma was very easy too.
I cannot recommend Emma and Wes enough! Firstly, Emma was quick and helpful responses to book our private tour and incorporate one of our requests into the day. Wes picked us up from the airport and drove us straight to a couple of his favourite spots with heaps of local knowledge and hints along the way. Food at the Greenock was spot on and we got dropped off at our Airbnb. Absolutely brilliant day and I will be telling everyone I know who’s heading to Adelaide, thanks so much.
