I Highly recommend reaching out to this company! Within 10 minutes of my online quote request I received a phone call from Dan. He was at my front door within the hour and did the repair on the spot. I've never experienced this level of service from any other tradesperson. Nice guy too.
I recently tried to hire a handyman to drill a hole in a door for a security lock and remove an old stuck lock and contacted both Handyman Connections and then Tasker and made appointments to get the job don but neither of them showed up and no reason given or apology. I then did a google search for someone else and Dan showed up on time and quickly had the problems fixed. Would definitely recommend.
Dan of Wpg Handyman was hired to patch and fill two holes in the drywall in my bathroom, the job he did was amateurish at best. I did not complain. It was our agreement for me to finish the repair myself. I waited two days for the repair to dry, and it did not. I removed all the tape and drywall compound from the repair, and had to give it another two days to dry. I fixed the the repair and it turned out fine. I had also asked him if he had a good tile person to do a decorative tile installation. he assured me he did, and was to quote me on this job. I waited more than two weeks to get the quote. I agreed to the quote, and Dan was to send the tile person to see what was needed to be done and discuss the details. He did not show the that week, and it wasn't until Friday of the following week he called to say they would be coming that day. During the call I raised my concerns about the long time frames I had been waiting. He did not apologize, but chose to defend himself. So I continued to let him know about my dissatisfaction of his drywall patch job. Still he agreed to come out this Friday with his tile person to assess the tile job. After a short period of time I received a call to say that they would not be coming, that if I wasn't happy with the first job then they would not do the tile job. He offered a refund for the patch job, which I declined, and said I would still give him an opportunity do the tile work. He refused and insisted on giving me my money back. I accepted and he refunded my money promptly. In conclusion I feel that Wpg Handyman not what they advertise on their web site and that Dan was not a very professional businessman. As advertised the are NOT RELIABLE, DEPENDABLE, or did they do QUALITY work. I would NOT RECOMMEND THEM.
In January 2024 we hired Dan to build a medicine cabinet and separate shelving unit for our bathroom. He did a great job. But six months later, one of the unit’s doors became misaligned (probably because of some settling) and would not close properly. I emailed Dan to complain about the issue. He came out the very next morning and fixed the shelf door at no charge. Excellent service!
