I took my dog to JD a few months ago for a 3 week board and train program. My dog is a 3 year old mixed breed (Husky, Australian Shepherd, Labrador, and Pitbull). This was a life changing investment for the both of us. Primarily, my hope for this was to be able to comfortably take my dog for stress free walks to help get him the exercise he needs. JD exceeded my expectations by miles. Not only am I able to walk my dog freely now, but he has also become much more responsive to my commands. His recall improved dramatically and his anxiety has become much more manageable, especially when on walks. The day I picked up my dog, we went for a walk as soon as we got home. About 5 minutes into our walk we came across a dog who was off leash. Normally this would be an extremely stressful event for us, but my dog handled it like a champ. He was able to keep calm and kept his focus on me until the other dog owner was able to recall their pup. This was something I never thought would be possible due to how anxious he has always been, especially around dogs he’s unfamiliar with. JD does a lot to educate dog owners as well. Not only did he provide me with a training collar and coaching to make the transition easy, but he also uploaded YouTube videos for me to follow along with during the training process. These were very educational and it was awesome to follow with the progress in real time. Additionally, JD gave me lots of advice to continue training into the future. JD clearly knows dogs well and I’ll forever be grateful for what he’s done for my dog and I.
Words can not express how happy we are with the work JD has done with our Australian Shepherd. He took him confidently and addressed all of the problems he had and made him so much more obedient. We are truly happy with his work, our dog is very well behaved and we loved having the YouTube videos updating his progress and talking through his process. If you have an issue with a dog, take them to JD, he has such an amazing skill set and is so incredibly diligent in what he does! I would 100% recommend him to anyone and everyone, this is the person you need to correct a dog’s behavior!
I'm so glad we went to him. He's never too busy for any questions I may have. My 90 lb. Standard poodle loves him. I really can't say enough good things about JD. And I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Shelby was aggressive towards other people, had a jumping problem, and absolutely no time on a leash, within 2 days JD had her walking on a leash like a pro and her jumping was greatly improved. I was nervous to leave her with someone for 2 weeks, JD was kind enough to let me stop by and see her basically any time. Her daily improvements were impressive to witness. Now, 4 months later Shelby will allow guests to walk through the house without aggressively barking at them, she rarely jumps, and I can trust her on a leash with my 3 year old! Woofter’s top dog is worth every penny and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
I hope JD is around doing this for a very, very long time because I’ll send every dog I ever have to him. He’s a freaking dog whisperer. I sent my two year old Labrador to him for 3 weeks. Prior to going to JD, my dog was a wild one - couldn’t walk him without pulling my shoulder out, couldn’t have friends over without him irritating everyone in the room.. simply put, he was a very disobedient dog. After spending 3 weeks with JD, I can walk him off leash, his house manners are much better, he responds to commands promptly. Being able to walk/run him without a leash is mutually beneficial for both him and I. The only downside is JD will make you want to get another dog just so you can send another one to him. You really will love your dog more after sending him/her to Woofter’s Top Dog. I’m so grateful for JD and how talented he is at what he does. He made my dog into a perfect dog without taking away his personality which is amazing. Thanks for all you did, JD!!
