I have done yoga with Jai through both my pregnancies, as well as mum and baby yoga with my first and now my second. I've even done her antenatal classes too. As you can see I think she's great and would highly recommend. She brings a wealth of experience and care and is focused on helping you have the antenatal / birth / postpartum experience that you want, with no judgement. Her classes build a real sense of community.
I’ve been attending Jai’s pregnancy yoga classes at Cavendish Primary school since 15 weeks, and it has become the thing I look forwards to weekly. Jai creates such a welcoming space for new mothers to be. She is friendly and so knowledgable. Her classes have made me feel less alone in my experience - especially through the sharing circle at the start of each class which is reassuring to hear how other women are feeling. It’s also been great to meet other local women due at a similar time to me. The yoga and breathwork is helpful for distressing, focusing on myself and my baby, and relieving my achey body. I attended her birthball workshop at 30 weeks and I am really excited to put the techniques she taught us into practise in labour. If you are pregnant, I can’t reccomend Jai’s classes enough.
Joining prenatal yoga classes with Jai has been a great opportunity to meet a nice group of mums-to-be. Jai is a very supportive and kind teacher, who always gives great advice for us to feel better physically and emotionally. Not only her classes made me feel good in the moment, they have also helped me during labour and birth. Thank you so much Jai!
I started attending Jai’s prenatal yoga classes at 18 weeks pregnant, feeling quite anxious about the whole experience. From the beginning, Jai created such a calm and supportive environment. Her guidance and practice tips really helped me manage my anxiety and feel more confident in my pregnancy journey. The classes are incredibly relaxing and always leave me feeling grounded and at ease. Jai has a wonderful way of making everyone feel safe, cared for, and supported. It's also been a lovely way to connect with other local mums-to-be. I would highly recommend her classes to any pregnant woman looking for both physical and emotional support during pregnancy.
Would not be leaving this review unless I felt compelled to. I have done pre natal and postnatal yoga classes with Jaina, and can say the most valuable part is the community and mums you would meet in the group, the class itself is nothing special. I signed up as a block for the postnatal yoga classes which meant I booked in for four classes in the month, not realizing how unpredictable and busy my August schedule suddenly became. I informed Jaina the first time I could not attend and she replied via WhatsApp - ok. Since it was so brief I thought she did not care and was not bothered as honestly I’ve paid anyway. Since that reply I missed the next two classes each time Jaina would message in the mum tribe group - which has more than 15+ people in the WhatsApp group - Louise you ok? This made me feel embarrassed and singled out. I am shamed for not attending , and if I could not attend as a mother of a 4 month old who is regressing- I must have good reason, because I paid for this class! I don’t want to miss it either! Jaina subsequently informed me in fact there is a waitlist to this yoga and baby class, which I was not aware of and if I were to tell her earlier maybe someone else could have gone. I would like to look at the positive and choose to believe it is to benefit a mum and baby rather than just filling up space and making sure her class is full. Regardless this has left a sour taste in my mouth. The point of joining these classes is to feel supported no matter what is thrown in our way, and what I have experienced have completely defied the purpose. I will forfeit the last remaining class next week as I no longer see the point of attending. If expecting mothers or mother and baby are looking for an exercise class- would recommend MummyFIT or for baby and me classes in Didsbury instead. You’d get a much better workout and overall experience.
