Zama was so cute! The ambiance was alive and fun. They have exciting moments when they bring out sparklers and it really brightens up your night. Our server Jesus was so helpful with the menu and such a kind person. Big plus, he’s also bilingual. Overall had a cute time here celebrating with my girls. Would come here again!
We came to Zama San Diego for a bachelorette celebration, and the experience exceeded our expectations! The atmosphere was lively and beautiful, the food was delicious, and it was the perfect spot for a special night out. What truly made the night unforgettable was our waiter, Alex. From the moment we sat down, he brought such great energy, professionalism, and attention to detail. He anticipated our needs, checked in at all the right times, and made sure every single person in our group felt taken care of. Managing a large bachelorette group isn’t easy, but Alex handled everything effortlessly and with a genuine smile the entire time. His exceptional service didn’t just enhance the evening, it defined it. He played a huge role in making our celebration feel special, fun, and seamless. If you’re visiting Zama, ask for Alex, he is truly one of a kind. We will absolutely be back!
Tried the Zama roll, which had mushroom and shrimp tempura, and such. The texture was very impressive. And the salmon in between made it taste smooth. The short rib with mushroom risotto was such a fire. It was so tender and flavorful. The salmon with mashed potatoes was pretty decent as well but not as impressive

His recommendations were spot on. he knew exactly what paired well, what was popular, and what would match what we were craving. What really stood out was how effortlessly he balanced being friendly, professional, and fun. He checked in at the perfect times, made sure everything came out exactly how we wanted, and added such a great energy to the whole dinner. You can tell he really cares about his guests and takes pride in giving an amazing experience. If you’re going to Zama, ask for David. He’s truly one of the best!
We had the best time! The vibe was the perfect mix of upscale and fun. We ordered the tropical roll, scallops, and lava cake, all phenomenal. Their happy hour drinks were on point too. Huge shoutout to our server, Alex, who was absolutely amazing. He was super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better!
