My wife and I hired 1314 Studio, under the direction of Khoa Nguyen, to provide videography services for our wedding events at the end of November/early December. A written contract was signed between us and Khoa Nguyen, head of the company, confirming the terms we agreed on (3–5 minute cinematic highlight video and 3 documentary-style long edits). We had paid the FULL amount according to the contract. Around the scheduled delivery time for the trailer video, we contacted Khoa for an update. He responded 2–3 days later and demanded additional money, claiming it was required because our wedding exceeded the originally agreed coverage hours. He threatened that if we did not pay, the trailer video would be removed from Vimeo. Concerned about losing these precious memories, we paid the requested amount immediately. When it came time to deliver the long edits, we made repeated attempts to contact Khoa via his personal number and the company’s main line, left voicemails, sent text messages, and even sent physical certified mail with return receipt—but received no response. This is not a dispute over a small amount like $100 or $200 — it involves thousands of dollars. More importantly, it concerns irreplaceable memories of our wedding, moments we hoped to preserve and one day share with our children. It has now been 10 months since our wedding, and despite numerous attempts to resolve this matter, we have not received a refund nor our wedding footage from Khoa and his team. The emotional distress and damage caused by this situation have been significant. To this day, Khoa Nguyen has not responded to our claims and now says he doesn't remember us. Even more concerning is that he continues to operate his business as reviews online show – failing to fulfill previous contracts and repeating the same behavior he demonstrated with us. We cannot allow this pattern to continue and affect more people. To prevent further harm to other clients, I am writing this review about my experience with 1314 Studio. I strongly urge anyone considering this company to stay far away — unless you want your money taken and your precious memories lost.

Our wedding was 12/30/2023, we hired 1314 studio for photography, videography and Photo Booth. We got our online photos and our wedding video highlight. In our contract, we are supposed to receive 45-60min long edit documentary and a 30 page with 60 photos flush-mount leather album. We waited patiently and didn’t want to write a bad review. Contacted via email multiple times and phone number listed. Never received a reply back. It’s very disappointing to not receive certain products that we’ve paid for.

My wedding was on August 10, 2024 and I hired 1314 for photography, videography , and Photo Booth services. Khoa delivered me an album of my wedding photos no problem and Photo Booth was a hit with guests. Good communication up until wedding. Beautiful photos btw! I sent him a follow up email in December for my video, no response. I sent him a follow up email in March, no response. *I will update this review when I get my refund or video.Your choice!

Fantastic experience working with Khoa. I can not recommend him enough as he is very professional and lively. He takes amazing photos and is very familiar with South Asian weddings and takes the appropriate photos. Looking for vendors during weddings can be very stressful but working with Khoa was very seamless and the easiest to work with. He did an amazing job and the photos were really amazing. I am really glad I went with 1314 Studios and can not recommend him enough!

Les photographes du 1314 studio ont été un plaisir à travailler avec eux. Ils ont photographié nos fiançailles et notre mariage. Le temps et l'éclairage ont rendu leur travail extrêmement difficile, mais leur flexibilité et leur professionnalisme nous ont permis de capturer de belles images de notre jour spécial malgré tous les problèmes que nous avons rencontrés ! Khoa et son équipe ont été communicatifs et attentionnés tout au long du processus. Nous venons de recevoir notre album de mariage et nous ne pourrions pas être plus heureux des résultats !
