I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this salon. I recently had some concerns following a haircut at the salon with a new (to me) stylist. I called the salon and they got me in immediately the following morning with the owner (Amber) and another high level stylist (Josue). I felt so seen, heard, educated, and pampered while the two of them corrected the cut and it turned out beautifully. Such excellent customer service from initially calling the salon about the fix right to the very end of the corrective cut. Thank you all for being such an amazing team!
Josue is one of the best stylists that I’ve ever gone to! Not only is Josue truly one of the kindest people I’ve met but also is a true one of a kind stylist in my opinion and I’m pretty discerning about my hair. Every time Josue has done my hair I’ve left feeling like a million dollars. After my last cut and style I went to a few stores in Dana park and received SO many compliments on my hair that I actually lost count. I was so happy to be able to tell them who to go to if they wanted amazing hair also! Besides always receiving an amazing cut and style, the salon is always very clean and every person I’ve talked with at the front desk is nice. I am just so pleased that after a long 6 years I’ve found a stylist I feel comfortable with and trust to give me amazing hair each visit and a huge confidence boost every time. Thank you Josue and Salon 27.
I can see why this place has a nearly perfect rating. From the second we walked in, we felt incredibly welcome. The salon is beautiful, Claire was amazing, and I adore my new haircut. I haven’t had a hair cut or a feeling like this in literal years. I immediately booked my next appointment and am so excited I found this place! Kara did my son’s hair and I loved how transparent she was from start to finish. She took his home grown faded long Mohawk into a style he could be proud of again and I love that for him. Everyone at this salon was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, from start to finish. We love this place and can’t wait to come back.
We worked with Claire for a consultation and fashion color halo for my preteen daughter. We had so much fun! Claire is talented and friendly, listens to what her client wanted and helped us pull together the style.
WORST SALON EVER! charged me $316.00 without tip for highlights that were done incorrectly. Stylist, Alan, made every excuse known to man why I did not get the highlights I asked for, but rather, barely any highlights at all and hair is very dark with no highlights. Cut is eh, nothing to write home about. Owner offered to fix it, then said never mind and refunded my money. She Said “this isn’t the right salon for you.” What does that even mean? If she was referring to a salon where the customer actually gets what they pay for, yes, I suppose she’s correct! Unbelievable! Bunch of snobs who think their worth as hair stylists are that of a God! See the photos! First pic is what I asked for; second pic is what I got! In response to their ignorant comment from Amber, she wasn’t even there when I came in. Pictures can’t be faked!
