I really dig. There are good deals, fresh looks, some new some old some used some mint. They buy fashion in, but unlike Buff Ex. or Xroads the looks they buy are actually highly wearable. GREAT SHOES especially. You can pay hundreds or literally single digits for a good pair of shoes, pants, shirts, coats, hats, etc. Choose your level of investment, it’s always a deal for what you get. Staff is just twenties people doing the best they can, they get short and are kind of bored so don’t expect a performance. But they’re always polite.
A little crowded, because the store is shaped like a narrow rectangle. However, good selection of clothing, and Designur brands.
Staff here is super rude, not to me personally but an observation I noted seeing toward other custmers, I’ve worked in retail myself for many years, and didn’t find they were really doing anything deserving of the attitude. A lot of clothing items had holes. But I did manage to find some cute things. But overall I don’t really recommend. I like the one at stonestown more. The employees there are much nicer as well.
If you are familiar with any of the 2nd street locations in Japan, or NYC, then you know that 2nd street is a trusted second hand clothing reseller and they are also great buyers as well. This location makes a mockery out of the 2nd street brand. They either have a terribly small budget to buy or whoever the manager is has a low fashion sense and doesn’t understand the value of designer goods. I’ve sold hundreds of collectible shoes worldwide, please do not waste your time selling your valuables here. You’ll be offended and embarrassed. Sold them a DEADSTOCK pair of FOG X NIKE with receipts and they paid me 90. I ultimately gave them the shoes because it’s the second time they handled them and I’m a big believer in energy transfer. I didn’t want them in my house before nor do I need them. Honestly though, I felt the offer was disrespectful, but willing to discount the experience because I know some great buyers at multiple 2nd street location worldwide. I just hope to save some of you a trip!
My favorite thrift store we visited in this area. It was clean, spacious, and stocked as we were shopping. They have regularly priced items as well as high end items on the walls/in locked cabinets. The carry men’s & women’s wear along with accessories. They also do consignment but we hadn’t tried it out. We got a sweatshirt, tshirt, cardigan, and adidas hoodie for a steal!
