I am grateful to have found a store like this that offers locally made, certified nutritional products. The staff was very knowledgeable.
Good quality service. GM always has a smile and knowledgeable. Store associate is also friendly with a good smile and attitude.
The owner would answer my questions with such passive aggressive responses. He stated “I’m not rich so I don’t waste money on pre-workout” three separate times when I asked for specifics on the products. Very unprofessional and not helpful experience
I came in a little after 10 a.m. shortly after they opened. I walked in, and quite a distance from the door I saw two men at a table, not far from the register. I assumed that one was a rep and the other was a customer, so I walked in, intending not to bother them and allow them continue their interaction. They greeted me, I greeted them. There was some banter between i and one of them from the door as I continue to walk in, I see the product I wanted to purchase, as I get closer, the dialogue i don’t remember clearly as I’m sleepily engaging in turns passive aggressive as the guy announces, “Well, if you’ve ever been in a 5 Star Nutrition establishment before YOU WALK UP AND SHAKE THE GUY’S HAND!!” At that moment I’m stunned because I’m like, “what just happened??” The other guy at the table chuckles to himself and sits back in his chair, the loud, angry, diminutive man in front of me stands there holding out his hand. I just wanted to buy the protein powder and leave, now it feels like I’m being accused of…doing what, I’m not sure. I shake the guy’s hand, I’m not combative. I just feel like I had to de-escalate the situation trying to show that I’m am no threat, I am simply trying to make a purchase. I go through the motions of acting like I’m pleasantly enjoying this powerfully awkward unnatural “conversation” I’m now being forced into with this disingenuous individual so I can make my purchase and carry on with the rest of my day. This is the only 5 Star Nutrition anywhere near where I am in DFW. I am sure I will never return here again.
I come here every two weeks for an InBody scan to track my progress while tackling a plethora of health issues. The owner of this location is incredible. He’s supportive, he’ll brainstorm with you, and in general you can tell he just cares and I’ve never had a bad experience or felt pressured to buy anything despite going in for a free scan every two weeks. I highly recommend this location to ANYONE, even the person who isn’t sure where to start on a health journey. Just start, they’ll meet you at the door.
