We sent our dog Willow to a three-week board and train with Criselda, and the experience was amazing. Willow has improved so much! She listens better, follows commands, and we now feel confident with the tools and techniques Criselda taught us to keep her training going at home. Throughout the process, Criselda kept in constant communication, sending daily updates, photos, and tips. She even helped us find a better food option for Willow, which made a big difference. One of the sweetest touches was that Willow turned two while she was with Criselda, and she made sure to celebrate her birthday with a yummy treat and a party hat 🥲 it meant so much to us! We couldn’t recommend Criselda more highly. She’s knowledgeable, caring, and truly goes above and beyond for the dogs she trains and their families.
I would give 6 stars if I could! A bark away did an incredible job with my 2 year old Jack Russel, Georgia. She’s always been a wildly friendly dog, but needed to learn how to RELAX. In just 2-3 weeks, Cris had her walking calmly on a leash, staying in place while we eat (instead of stealing food out of our toddler’s hand!), and just overall gave her peace. Shes still the same friendly, snuggly puppy that we sent out for training, just a much improved, far calmer one. Very very highly recommended!
We love Criselda !! highly recommend A Bark Away NJ for your fur baby’s training. We have a 2.5 year old pitbull ,Ivy, that has trouble with leash walking and reactivity with her environment. Criselda is patient yet firm with training Ivy and us on proper leash and behavioral techniques. I will continue to lean on her for valuable advice and training for our baby girl !
As a first-time dog owner, I learned so much from Criselda— not just about training my puppy, but about understanding how he communicates! The training was definitely for him, but I felt like I was learning just as much. Criselda is fun, funny, yet no-nonsense, and super clear about expectations and progress. She’s great at celebrating what’s going well and honest about what needs improvement (especially on my end!). Because of her guidance, my puppy and I are so much more bonded, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She also watched him overnight recently, and I loved getting her frequent updates and feedback. It’s obvious she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with— and their owners too. Highly recommend! 🐶🐾❤️
We can’t say enough great things about our experience with the three-week board and train program. Our three-year-old Mini Bernedoodle, Nipsey, had developed quite a few naughty habits, but the personalized training made a noticeable difference in his behavior. He loved his trainer, Criselda, from the moment he met her, and we felt completely at ease knowing he was in caring and professional hands. We received photo and video updates daily, and our pup looked genuinely happy in every one. When we picked him up, he was calm and confident, yet still the sweet, silly dog we love. Criselda is patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything so we could continue reinforcing his progress at home. It’s rare to find a place that combines a genuine love for dogs with such effective training methods. We highly recommend this program to anyone looking for peace of mind and meaningful results from training.
