Margo is the bomb!! She keeps me centered and puts me in my place. She teaches me what I need to work on and does it in a manner that may come across kurt, but you’ll just have to deal with it. They say in life you get what you pay for and this pace is no exception. It’s located in an odd spot but who cares!?!? We have been going a while now and our Ozzie boy really seems to enjoy his spa day there. I’m pretty sure they’re all booked out for a while so if you’re blessed enough to get a spot here go for it you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

We had them come out once before for a grooming. The grooming itself was decent, though pricey. My wife scheduled a second appointment a few weeks later, but unfortunately she was extremely sick the night before and didn’t get to sleep until 4am. I was in my office waiting for the groomer, and after an hour passed with no sign of them, I woke her up to check. Turns out they said they knocked, texted, and tried to reach out—but no one in our six-person household heard a thing. Our doorbell works perfectly (I tested it), and I would have heard it instantly from where I was. A simple ring of the bell would have done the trick. When we texted them back to explain, we were basically blamed for the missed appointment and told we’d be charged a no-show fee. I pushed back and called them out for not ringing the doorbell—and even though they admitted they should have rang the bell, they dropped us from their client list entirely. Decent grooming, but terrible attitude, poor accountability, and even worse customer service. We won’t be back.

Wow! A Becoming Pet is paws & tails above any grooming service I've experienced anywhere in the US. I've recently relocated to Greensboro, my poodle/maltese mix looks like a show pup about town now! They are very caring with him, as he's a senior dog, and they are very thoughtful on making sure he is comfortable during his time at the salon. Truly amazing talent of show quality grooming for my everyday fur baby! 1000% recommend.

Words cannot express how estatic I am over Thor’s groom and pictures just don’t do it justice! This was Thor’s first visit to A Becoming Pet and Rachel was very welcoming during our registration process. I KNOW Thor can be a handful so a big shoutout to all the staff members and a round of applause to his groomer. We definitely will be back.

Everyone was so amazing! It was my four month old puppy's first time grooming, so they were extra gentle and slow in the grooming process to help her feel comfortable with it. They explained everything and made me feel at ease with leaving my baby with them. Other dogs were running in super excited like they had just been brought to their favorite daycare! Highly recommend, especially if you have a doodle as they are specialized in these breeds! UPDATE: Photos added! Still loving this salon!
