A+ Burger est un petit établissement chaleureux près de Telegraph Ave à Oakland, servant des burgers généreusement dimensionnés et bien assaisonnés, comme le burger éponyme A+ Burger. Music was a little loud and distracting, otherwise, this was an enjoyable first stop as part of the Oakland Burger Trail. I ordered the namesake burger, A+ burger. It was tasty. The sauce dripped out the bottom as I ate. The burger was generously stacked which made it a little difficult to get every layer in a single bite. The eggplant was not noticeable - it could've been ommitted and still remained more or less the same in flavor and quality. The green bean fries were novel with a great texture and flavor. They don't malt their shakes here.
I ordered delivery from this place and honestly, I was a bit underwhelmed. The portion size of the Spicy Chicken Breast Burger was generous, but I wouldn’t order it again. The flavor was very inconsistent—some bites were overly salty while others were completely bland, and overall the burger just lacked seasoning and taste. For something labeled “spicy,” it didn’t have much of a kick either. The chocolate shake was thick and decent. The packaging was neat and well done, which I appreciate. Overall, I’d say this spot might work for people who prefer very plain or mild food, but if you’re looking for bold flavor, this probably isn’t the place. Definitely disappointing given the expectations.
A small boutique burger restaurant that’s popular with the locals. Burgers are generously sized and mine filled me up. I would rate the burgers well, albeit a little pricey. There is no table service as you order and pickup at the cashier, and you seat yourself at an open table. All in all, the restaurant atmosphere was clean and inviting.
These guys certainly have an A+ in my book. Loved this small, cozy family style joint right off Telegraph. Tried the turkey burger with fries and was pleasantly surprised by its clean, organic flavor — simple yet satisfying. My wife went with the Impossible Burger and garlic fries. Can’t really say much for the Impossible Burger. The newspaper-themed french fry holder added a nice touch to the presentation. A+ Burger lives up to its name with thoughtful ingredients and bold flavors that don’t feel overdone.
I got the A+ burger and garlic fries as a side. The burger was humongous and perfectly seasoned. I thought all of the components of the burger worked really well together!! The burger patty was also cooked medium just as I wanted! The fries were still really crispy, even though I got it delivered to my place. Everything was so good. I will definitely order from the place again!!
