I do not enjoy writing negative reviews so I have put this task off for several months. I am doing it now for the sake of other dog owners. I wish I had read all the reviews. We boarded our 4 yr old Weimaraner and 10 yr old Morkie here last October for 8 days while we were in California. It was truly a traumatic experience for both myself and the dogs. I wasn’t allowed to tour the facility in advance, which concerned me, but we were in need of a place for them and time was short. When I came to pick them up after our trip, our Weimaraner was desperate to leave and couldn’t even focus her eyes on me for a couple days. She had lost a couple pounds at least. Our Morkie had dried poop all over his rear end and I had to ask the guy who brought them out to me for something to clean him up with before putting him into my car. When I pointed out the situation to him he said “Yeah, I think he had diarrhea”. I had to bathe and scrub him when we got home. It was several days before they seemed ok. The whole thing made me ill and sick with guilt. It was so bad that I don’t plan to ever board my dogs at any facility ever again and we have boarded our many dogs many times over the last 35 years in 8 different states. The people I interacted with were very nice so I hate doing this but whoever runs this facility needs to make some serious changes.
