I move every couple of years to new parts of the country for military purposes. Many places typically market that they treat their animals as their own. I have never lived somewhere where I can absolutely attest to that statement more so than I have at A Paw Above. The entire staff genuinely loves my dog as if it were their own, and are incredibly flexible in emergency situations if running late, having issues leaving work, etc. I 100% recommend anyone looking for a doggie daycare in the springs area to give this practice a chance!!!

Allen is literally a dog whisperer. Our boy copper really struggled with getting accepted into day cares because he’s a rescue and was reactive. Allen took his time introducing copper to the pack and was kind and patient with him. Now copper loves going to daycare and even has other doggie friends. One top of Allen being great with dogs he’s also great with customers, charging REALLY decent rates, and is super accommodating. I can’t recommend this place enough, my dogs are my children and I know they are in great hands when going to a paw above for daycare and boarding, the groomer is also five Star.

We have been taking our frenchie there since he was a baby in 2021 and he loves daycare and staff! Every morning that he goes to daycare he leaves us in the dust bc he is so excited to play! We got another dog, a pug, and started taking him in 2023 and he loves the place as well! He is a timid dog and is a little afraid of other dogs (that aren’t his brother or a pug), but taking him to daycare has really brought him out of his shell! He has gained more confidence with people and pups just from the A Paw Above teams’ care! Allen and wife are so great with the dogs and you can tell they all truly love them! If you are ever hesitant, just watch their youtube channel and you can see how happy all of the pups are to be there!!

We’ve been taking our dogs to A Paw Above Boarding and Daycare since they were puppies, and they always get amazing care. Allan, the owner, is great and clearly loves what he does. When we go on vacation, we never have to worry — we know our dogs are in good hands! Highly recommend!
