I will always recommend ABQ Sweet Spot to everyone I know. Your cakes, cookies, cupcakes, sweet treats, and keto desserts are all, hands down, the best in town. I really love and appreciate the staff, the bakers, the decorators, and everyone who makes these beautiful, delicious, fun, and amazing creative baked goods. You all make each one of our celebrations very unique, and more special and even more memorable.
First time I tried this place. They are so creative and talented!! I love how our cake turned out. I just sent in some inspiration ideas, provided some favorite colors and this was the result! I was very impressed with how cool this came out. Plus it tasted amazing. I will be back for more customized birthday cakes in the future. PS we had a rice crispy cereal treat while we were picking up the cake and… O M G that was amazing too. PSS photo was taken after we started pulling things off to cut it. This is the BEST place. I have probably ordered a dozen or more custom cakes and cookies over the years and every single one has been great. I also stop by for cupcakes or macaroons whenever I need and they are always beautiful and delicious. The owners are the loveliest people and the service is always perfect.
Discovered this place so I dropped by. This is a cute little sweet shop/ bakery that has so many goodies to choose from. Upon speaking with the owner he informed me that they have been in this location for about 2 years and initially they started selling from their home. I tried the red velvet cream cheese cookie sandwich and the chantilly cupcake. The red velvet cream cheese sandwich was awesome! What I really like about it is that it was not too sweet but perfectly sweetened enough with a great flavor. The chantilly cupcake was bomb! This is my favorite cake so I was a bit sceptical to try the cupcake figuring there wouldn't be any comparison but I was wrong. They fill the cupcake with what I believe is strawberry filling and top with blueberries and a strawberry. If you like the cake you'll like this too. I can't wait to go back and try their other goodies! I got there a little late and a lot of things were sold out so next time I'll remember to go earlier. I would recommend giving this place a try, you won't regret it.
