Another bad experience with a local florist! I received flowers for what I thought was my birthday on Jan 9th. The flowers were left outside our door. Only problem was that it was addressed to someone else and was supposed to be delivered to a church for funeral services; the flowers were white Lillies. I had to call three times in two days before I finally got a live person on the line. He said it was a mistake and also informed me that my daughter had ordered flowers to be delivered on the 13th. I then contacted my daughter only to find out that the florist told her that they screwed up my order and that they would redeliver on the 13th. Today is Jan 20th and still no flowers! I called the florist and the lady told me the flowers had already been delivered!!!! After walking the woman through the series of unfortunate events, she asked me what I wanted her to do. I replied, “Just refund me!” Note the funeral arrangement was ugly and lasted for 3 days. This is one of the most incompetent florists I have dealt with in the Tampa - St. Pete area. They all charge too much, don’t know how to create a really beautiful arrangement, and have the worst personnel ever. Do yourself a favor- Don’t use these folks or let the fake British accent on their answering machine fool you! Biggest scam ever!
My wife was recovering from surgery at Tampa General Hospital and our daughter ordered flowers. We received flowers and card but it was meant for someone else. I called Absolutely and they took immediate corrective action and my wife received the ordered flowers and card just before she was discharged. Absolutely gets an A+ for making it right. Plus their phone on hold song is very funny and appropriate.
First of all, I must say my fiance liked the arrangement. I did not and it was for my 60th birthday. I did not appreciate being called rude by the man I called to inquire why the 90 dollar charge if we supplied the vase and a majority of the flowers. The whole thing started with my fiance obtaining 20 wild irises from a wholesaler because most florists do not have them around my birthday time. The ask was to have them add flowers and arrange them into a bouquet 💐. I prefer white peonies or foxgloves. They used cala lillies which I feel are funeral flowers. They charged him 90 dollars. I called to inquire if this was normal. I initially spoke to a woman who transferred me to a man. He stated no it was not normal to bring flowers to a flower shop as he said you would not bring food to a restaurant. It is "rude". I replied that if you wanted a particular color of paint you would provide it. And there are restaurants that you bring select foods or wines to that they will prepare it for you. I did not think it was rude and we did it last year to a wonderful kind florist in Seminole I can't remember the name. But she charged considerably less and they were gorgeous. The man on the phone stated the price was for the design the artistry and the tax. I do not recommend this shop Absolutely beautiful florist for the excessive price and attitude. And the design was not so great in my view.
My wife sent me some anniversary flowers that was supposed to come with a balloon. This was the first bouquet they sent with no balloon. After calling them they sent the second bouquet with a thank you balloon not the happy anniversary balloon she ordered. The first card had a happy anniversary card she ordered, the second one had an " enjoy these flowers". Terribly disappointed.
I placed a last minute order Friday morning before Mother’s Day to be delivered the same day. Not only did they make the deadline, but the flowers delivered far exceeded my expectations. Gorgeous! Thrilled with this Florist. Highly recommend.
