I asked this place about a back light repair on a tv. As I wanted to fix a it rather than dump it into our environment. Other companies are charging 220. This company want 450. I agree with the reviews here! A new TV is 440.
My tech challeneged parents brought their tv here to be repaired. Their tv was swapped out with a different tv of the same model with a burnt in screen. Take care and note your serial numbers beforehand
CAUTION, had Mr Singh go to my elderly fathers house to diagnose issue with PVR, quoted $150. He put new batteries in remote and cleaned them. Then charged my 93 yr old father $250. That's bordering on elder abuse!. Would NOT recommend.
Decided to pop in and see what it would cost to get my teenagers laptop power socket repaired. They had stepped on the laptop and broken the socket. I had purchased a replacement socket myself from ebay but I didn't have the tools to remove the old one and solder the new one onto the board. All other quotes I had received were between $150-$300 with 3-4 days turnaround minimum. It was done at Adelaide Cheap TV & Video Repairs for $80 and ready to pick up before end of business that day. My experience with Mr Singh and the business was short and sweet. I am very happy and we will use them again in future when needed :)
I wanted to get a small connector soldered to a circuit, and I was turned down by 5 different mobile and laptop repair shops in town, one even quoting a ridiculous amount and a week of lead time. One of the places pointed me to Mr Singh at Adelaide Cheap TV and computer repairs, and I have to say he is a legend. He did the job in 2 hours, and his fee was absolutely reasonable. The workmanship of the soldering was superb. Tested the work once I got home and everything works fine. I don't know why some old reviews of this place have 1 start and say they were rude, that is absolutely a lie. Both Mr Singh and the lady at the shop spoke very nicely and were very helpful. This place should have all 5 star reviews from my experience. I would highly recommend this place for electronics repairs.
