We did the Mafia room and it was heaps of fun with cool and interesting puzzles. The staff were really nice especially Anna the Game Master. There were only two of us so that made it hard as sometimes you need to be in different rooms to give instructions and I'm hard of hearing so just a heads up about that but if you get clues it's on a screen rather than a walkie talkie unlike other rooms I've done so that was cool. So keen to try the other rooms they have now. :)

I’ve now been to Adventure Rooms Melbourne twice — once at their original Little Collins Street venue and once at the Bourke Street sister location — and both visits were memorable for very different reasons. Gaol Break (Little Collins Street) Gaol Break was fantastic. The room is built around collaboration, and you really do need your team working together to get anywhere. I’d say four players is the perfect number — enough hands and brains without tripping over each other. The hint system via the TV was clear and helpful, and the difficulty level felt spot-on: challenging but fair. We managed to escape, and it felt earned. Easily one of the better “classic” escape room experiences in Melbourne. Speakeasy: Secrets of the Green Fairy (Bourke Street) Speakeasy had absolutely phenomenal décor. The theming is lush, detailed and instantly immersive — easily one of the best-looking rooms I’ve seen. There are also some really cool mechanical elements that feel unique compared to other venues. That said, there was one puzzle involving a ball that let the entire experience down. It was purely skill-based, super finicky, and ended up eating about 30 minutes of our time. It broke the flow of the room and became more labour-intensive than fun. We didn’t escape this one, and that particular puzzle was a big part of why. I am keen to check out their Cabin room soon.

My husband and I did mad scientist. We thoroughly enjoyed it and Michael was a very warm, kind and enthusiastic host who made the experience even better. There were a lot of locks to solve and the room had been re-set 100% accurately. We felt that the on screen assists were better than the walkie talkie method encountered elsewhere. Definitely coming back to do all your rooms

Was a great escape room, great puzzles and a good rating system on the difficulty. Loses a star for price which is a tad high for the overall " experience from check in to room to finish. But we will be back here again to do another one , well worth trying.
