I cannot thank Aksinia enough for her attention to detail and care altering my wedding dress! Our venue was outside, and the wedding was end of August, so I was concerned about having such a large train on me for the whole day. As you can see in the photos, she did a beautiful job making the second layer of the train detachable, and the areas where it attached were completely invisible while both trains were on the dress. I’m also on the shorter side, so the straps came very long and the dress overall was too long. With all of the beading, I was nervous it would look off if made shorter, and somehow Aksinia made it even more beautiful after shortening it than how it came straight from the designer. If you’re getting married soon, AG Alterations is a must for your dress needs!!

Aksinia has worked with Tiffany's and many other bridal shops for years and even altered some of my high school homecoming and prom dresses, so I knew I was in great hands! When it came to my wedding dress, Aksinia was fantastic. She is highly experienced, incredibly efficient, and knows exactly what needs to be done. Thanks to her expertise, my dress was the perfect length and fit flawlessly on my big day. She also made me a beautiful french bustle that was lightweight and made it easy for me to move around and dance throughout the evening. I'm a local wedding planner and the owner of When Hearts Unite and I'm always referring my bride's to AG Alterations. It was finally my turn to get married and I knew that I could trust Aksinia to get my dress perfect. I bought my dress online so I was prepared for it to need alterations, but it was way bigger and had a deeper plunge than I expected. During my consultation, Aksinia took a few scrap pieces of lace from the desk and pinned it to the plunge, pinned it where it needed to be taken in and I was out of there within 10 minutes. When I came back to try it on after the alterations my dress was better than I could have ever imagined! The lace she added to the plunge V neck matched perfectly and looked like it had been made that way. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and I am so grateful for AG Alterations for making that possible!

By my second fitting, my dress was perfect. Aksinia even took the time to teach me how to bustle my dramatic train with clear, easy-to-follow instructions I could share with my mom and wedding coordinator (she also took pictures for me to share!). She cared for my dress with such attention to detail, ensuring it fit flawlessly and was comfortable to walk in. Her initial price estimate was nearly spot on, even with the addition of a few extra bustle points. So much of wedding planning can be stressful—especially when it comes to your dress—but finding a vendor you can trust changes everything. Aksinia has a quiet confidence, unmatched professionalism, and a kind, helpful nature that made the whole process such a relief. My dress needed hem adjustments, taking in of the bodice, strap adjustments, and a variety of other things. When I went back for my fitting, a month later, every single change was done flawlessly and it fit like a dream! She also hemmed my reception dress for me which aided in my wedding preparations!!
