Ailsa did the makeup for my wedding in October 2025. From the moment I first contacted Ailsa, she was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. She was fantastic during the makeup trial, really listening to what I wanted and making adjustments based on our discussion for the wedding day. I was delighted with my makeup on the day, and so were the other people who had their makeup done. Ailsa also did an amazing job with both hair and makeup for my engagement photos. I couldn’t recommend her more!
I’ve used Ailsa a few times for makeup and have always been delighted with the results. She’s done makeup for me for birthdays, as a bridesmaid and will even be doing my makeup for my own wedding! Ailsa is always very professional and attentive to what you are looking for and delivers exceptional results. I’d recommend Ailsa to anyone!
I had a really great experience with Ailsa, this was my first facial of the bridal package and I cannot wait to be glowing by the end! Ailsa makes you feel so comfortable and we just had a lovely chat, the perfect way to end a busy day and leave with your skin glowing! I would recommend Ailsa to everyone!
I had left it quite last minute before my wedding to think about skincare preparation. Booked in with Ailsa about 5 weeks before and she recommended a skincare routine to follow, really simple and making use of stuff I already owned so not trying to sell expensive products I didn’t need! After following the routine and two hydrating facials, one with dermaplaning, my skin looked the best it ever has! I started getting compliments on my skin leading up to the wedding and the day of my makeup went on great. Can’t recommend Ailsa enough, at each appointment she makes you feel welcome/relaxed and amazing results!
Where do I start? We had a wonderful experience with Ailsa from the very first contact. She was professional and empathetic, really listening to what I was hoping for and what I was trying to avoid. She gave wonderful skin care and prep advice on the run up to the big day. I attended my make up trial with friends in tow and she welcomed us and our terrible chat into her studio and made us feel at ease, happy to tweek suggestions but truthfully she was so good there weren't many. On the big day she was timely, professional, calm and fun. Even adding in an extra at short notice. We all loved having her there and I am not too proud to say I will never look that good again! My mum who was mid cancer treatment and very worried about her makeup, having very sparse eyebrows and eyelashes due to chemo, was so pleased with the results, she looked and felt amazing. We would all highly recommend Ailsa! Thank you so much x
