Such a great little gem in the hinterland. Albert Valley Wines is definitely a beautiful spot to try some lovely wines or stay for a yummy lunch! Food was absolutely brilliant, service was fantastic with lovely staff. Highly recommend a lunch, dinner or cellar door spot. Our new favourite 🍷

We booked Albert River Wines for our wedding over a year in advance, only to cancel 11 months before the date—plenty of notice by any reasonable standard. Despite this, the venue has since rebooked our exact date with another couple and still refused to offer even a partial refund. They haven’t lost any business, yet continue to hold onto our payment with no flexibility or goodwill. Looking back, we wish we’d tested their wine and food before reserving the date. We attended a wine tasting at the venue and were shocked by the poor quality of the wines—most were almost undrinkable to the point of being astringent, with the Brut being the only exception. When I called the event coordinator to ask about this, she openly admitted that they had served wines that were “almost at their end of life.” I was horrified to hear this, as it shows a complete lack of care for quality and guests’ experience. We also tried the food, which was barely average, and when I gave feedback, I was told the wedding menu would be “different.” That didn’t inspire much confidence. Another major issue was the lack of communication. It was incredibly difficult to get a response from the wedding coordinator. Most of the time, I had to go through the assistant, who rarely had answers and would say she needed to check with Kylie, and then it would take days to get a call back. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Poor communication, questionable wine quality, average food, and no sense of fairness or professionalism in handling cancellations. We would strongly advise future couples to visit, taste, and test everything first before committing to this venue.

What a gorgeous venue! Old world charm with good old fashioned service and attention to detail with the customer satisfaction at the forefront of everything they do. I was absolutely enchanted with how lovely this place is. The grounds are simply stunning with a perfect photo opportunity in every direction. They even have a stunning peacock wandering about looking simply fabulous. I didn't get the opportunity to eat here but wished I had. Whatever they were cooking smelled incredible and had me salivating. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped, and staff seem pretty happy here and were keen to help. Restrooms were clean and well maintained, with an additional disabled/baby change room to comfortably accommodate guests with mobility challenges. I'm definitely going back with more time to eat and explore next time. There is a photo I've added to my review with the peacock.

My husband and I had the privilege of having our wedding here in September and it was the most magical day of our lives 🤍 Kylie, Erin and the team stopped at nothing to make our dream wedding come true and the venue is absolutely stunning. Our guests had the best time, the locations were beautiful, the food was delicious and the whole process was easy and stress-free. Thank you all for making our day so special 🤍
