Live within 2 miles of this place for the past 10 years yet never knew it was there. This gem has actually been in business for over 20 years in this location but somehow stays hidden. Well not hidden to us anymore! Great Italian restaurant, fantastic cozy atmosphere, superb waiters and staff, dimly lit even though we went at 3:15 pm., and the food, OMG, perfect balance of spices and herbs that enhances the taste and in no way overpowers the actual food. Large portions (we got to bring home leftovers!), fantastic Wine selection, beer and alcohol selection also above par. Wait, did I say it is a great restaurant? Have been told after 5 their wait times can very, so this is not so secret. Highly recommend.

⸻ I recently visited this wonderful Italian restaurant and had such a memorable experience. I shared a delicious spaghetti meal with my son, who asked me to go on a little “date,” which made the evening even more special. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the wine selection was excellent, and the whole atmosphere had the feel of true fine dining. As someone who owns a cafe and works in the restaurant industry myself, I really appreciate the level of care that goes into creating an experience like this. Our server was exceptional—attentive, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s the kind of service you can’t fake. I love supporting local businesses, and this visit reminded me why it’s so important. This restaurant delivers quality, heart, and hospitality in every detail. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!

After seeing the restaurant's impressive 4.6+ star rating, I was excited to try it out for the first time. Unfortunately, the food fell short of expectations from start to finish. The complimentary bread was the first red flag — it tasted store-bought, bland, and lacked the freshness or flavor you'd expect from a traditional Italian eatery. We ordered the Formation Goat Cheese Dip as an appetizer, but it was underwhelming. The goat cheese was overwhelmed by oil and had a sharp, acidic taste that made the dish unappetizing. For my main course, I had the lasagna, which was incredibly bland apart from an overpowering garlic flavor that dominated the entire dish. My husband’s meal was also noticeably bland, lacking any depth or traditional Italian seasoning. While the staff was friendly and attentive — a definite positive — the overall dining experience was disappointing. Given the high rating, I had hoped for more authentic and flavorful cuisine. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

This is our new favorite Italian restaurant, and we’ve been looking for one far and wide ever since we took a trip to Italy a few years ago. It doesn’t look like much on the outside but once you walk inside it feels upscale. It was busy but we were seated almost right away on a Friday evening, though reservations are recommended because I think we just got lucky. They have a huge selection of wines, I’m not big on red wine but even I liked what they presented. I ordered the mare (pasta with lots of seafood and shellfish) with gnocchi and white wine sauce and asked for it to be creamy and it was DEVINE. We can’t wait to come back!

The place was busy, noisy and kind of chaotic which didn’t feel much like an authentic Italian restaurant. The food was pretty good but the vibe felt rushed and not very relaxed. Service was just okay and it seemed like we had to work for it instead of the other way around.
