Dr Jayne Rauwerda could not take care of us any better. Engaging with our children talking to them throughout the process, helpful explanations, a parent’s biggest cheerleader, and always follows up as promised. Always a five star experience even when we’re coming in with an unfortunate double ear infection.
We love Alger pediatrics. Dr Ron Hofman is a fantastic doctor. I went to him growing up and so did a lot of my cousins too. And now we bring my girls. We feel very well cared for.
Dr. Kriz Connor has been AMAZING with my boys, he had a big shoe to fill after Dr Addy left, I have to admit. But he proves to me and my boys at every visit that he cares, we trust him and me and my kids both are Happy Kriz Connor is their primary doctor.
We absolutely LOVE Alger Pediatrics. And especially our dear Dr Veenema. He is THE BEST. My twins have always gone there, and when I took my son, who has Down syndrome, to a different doctor thinking he might need more specialized care, it only made me realize how special Alger Pediatrics truly is. We are now bringing him back, and I couldn’t be more thankful. Every single person there — from the nurses to the doctors — makes you feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. You never feel like just another patient. Dr. Veenema, especially, has such a gift for making families feel safe and supported. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt called to share this one because my gratitude for this place and these people is truly from the heart.
We LOVE our pediatrician Dr. Veenema. He’s so wonderful with both our infant and toddler. You can tell he loves what he does and he’s good at it to boot. We always know we are getting the best possible care at Alger Peds. We also love Dr. Krisz, Dr. Rauwerda, and Dr. Hoffman, who we’ve also had to see for a variety of walk-in clinic reasons. I was so impressed to find when I delivered our infant that they still do rounds at the hospital. After a less than stellar experience with a pediatrician in Oklahoma with my first, I was so excited to see an Alger Peds pediatrician at the Corewell hospital right after delivery. The nursing staff is also so knowledgeable and kind there. Even down to reception, Alger Peds is a step above the rest.
