This is a very, very late review, but I would be remiss if I never shared how amazing All Barks of Life is! Their standard of care, communication, patience, and overall love for the dogs they look after are more than we could've hoped for. We have a very anxious pup, Ari. He mainly struggles with separation anxiety, and unfortunately, my fiance and I had a couple of last minute engagements pop-up back to back and had to board Ari for a week and then for another week a couple of days after the first boarding reservation. Given everything was last minute, we didn't really have a chance to do daycare ahead of time to let Ari get familiar with the grounds and the staff. So the new environment, new people, and overall separation anxiety made the first few days really, really hard for him. He tried to scale the fences, was chewing through the walls, and was marking everywhere. The staff handled everything like pros! They gave me a call to better understand Ari and his anxiety. They tried multiple solutions to see what worked best and eventually got him comfortable and in a routine. They kept me informed on how he was doing and sent so many cute photos. All of this made me feel so reassured that he was in the best hands and was being well taken care of. While other places might've been angry, annoyed, or frustrated with Ari's behavior, not once did All Barks display any of that. They were truly just concerned for his well-being and wanted to understand and take the steps necessary to make sure he was safe (both physically and emotionally). Needless to say, his second stay was a lot more seamless. I cannot be more grateful to All Barks for taking such good care of my dog!
Updated (2+ years): I have been boarding my dogs with Tamar and Amy for more than two years now. My Shiba Inu, Grace, is a rescue with epilepsy. Those who have had Shibas know they can be a challenging breed, especially around people who are not their primary caretaker. Additionally, I travel frequently for work often resulting in last minute bookings. Even with all of those challenges, Tamar and Amy have been absolutely amazing. The staff have been on top of making sure Grace has her medication. They’re often keeping Grace in the house if she gets overwhelmed. Tamar has always welcomed my erratic booking schedule and always made room for Grace. I’m so grateful to Tamar, Amy and the team and I absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs boarding in Seattle
Anytime we turn the corner to the facility my dogs start whining, barking, and jumping around. They get SO excited to come spend the day here! You can really tell the team loves animals and knows how to handle them! Not to mention the photos are a big bonus! They know how to find the perfect friend groups for your pup. I would not go anywhere else to board my animals. They are the best 😁 p.s they’re great with my cats too!
Our two dogs started going here for overnight boarding in June of last year. What drew us to the place was the fact that they would keep our two dogs together and put them with dogs of the same temperament. Both of our dogs have separation anxiety, and have never been to a boarding facility before, so we were worried that they would be super anxious the whole time. Those fears vanished when we got the pictures of them looking super happy. Every day of our trip we would get new pictures of them to see how they were doing, and they looked happy in each one. We have used All Barks of Life several times for overnight boarding, but never for day care until recently. Due to unexpected changes in our life, our dogs had to start going to day care two days out of the week so they are not home alone all day on their own. We decided to use them for day care due to the overwhelmingly positive experiences that we had with boarding. Tamar has been very accommodating of our schedules, and has made all the efforts to work around our families work and school schedules. The best part of the day care is that every time we pick up the dogs, they are tired from a long day of playing with other dogs there. There’s the additional bonus of pictures as well! I couldn’t recommend All Barks of Life enough to anyone who needs overnight boarding or day care for their dog. Tamar runs a great facility and will make sure that your dog is happy and tired by the end.
We have only one family member on the west coast. He always watched our dog. When our family member passed away we needed to find a kennel for our planned trip out of the country. So happy we found All Barks of Life Hotel for our anxious 12 year old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix. Our dog was so well cared for. They aren’t stuck in a cage all day. The dogs get outdoor play time and are grouped together by size, age and activity level. Also you are able to provide your own dog food so your pet will not encounter any G.I. Issues. In my research to find a kennel most places charge extra for you to bring your own food. What’s even more awesome is how you receive texts with pictures of your dog. I highly recommend All Barks of Life Hotel. If you want quality care and peace of mind, this is the place to go. So grateful our 12 year dog has a safe and loving place to go when traveling with us isn’t possible.
