I appreciate their style of training very much. The dog came back with a better nature and a healthy understanding of commands, which is more than her owner is capable of in three weeks. So i would definitely recommend. for those who've read an/or disagree with their style or consider it unnecessarily firm etc, I would suggest calling up for clarification. Because, Unless you are actually familiar with how to professionally train a dog, then please stop helping. if you were a professional then you wouldn't be here.
I had Abby at bootcamp earlier in the year. She did come home somewhat improved. We had a trip planned to Europe and our regular pet sitter was not available so i thought it would be a good idea to take her back there as a border for 13 days. When i picked her up i was told she had a "slight cough", but not to bother with a vet as they would just charge $100s and she doesn't need it. I asked if it was kennel cough and was told - yes but she's nearly over it. When we returned home she took a turn for the worst. I sent Tim a message to say my dog was clearly unwell - no response. I called the vet and they slotted her in - as they heard her coughing while i was talking. 3 different medications later as she was struggling. We weighed her - as i do each visit - she had gone from 7.9kg to 7.2kg in the course of 2 weeks so she had been sick a while. I signed a waiver to give them permission to get her to a vet if necessary - that did not happen - nor was i contacted at any point to say there was a problem. 2 days later i sent a couple of videos to Tim to show how she was when i received her back - still no response.....until i posted a review on their facebook page. The response then was immediate. All about reviews. He did then admit that they needed to rectify a situation or two, but this was to get the review off their page. All i can say is be aware if you take your dog there because kennel cough is present at the establishment.
I used Tim 20 years ago with assistance in puppy behavioural problems and it worked wonders and actually trained me to understand dogs better. I have recently used him again to come to my home and polish up my skills and got so much more out of it from him looking at the environment to best accommodate for the dog, the ongoing support and dog class meetups to keep us on track. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to assist and help you understand how to best provide and lead your dog. Thanks
I can’t recommend Allbreeds Dog Training, K9 Bootcamp enough! From the very first session, the trainers were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping both dogs and their owners succeed. They take the time to understand each dog’s personality and tailor the training to suit their needs, which made such a difference for us. The program is structured, supportive, and also fun – my dog came home not only better behaved but also more confident and happy. I noticed improvements in obedience, socialisation, and responsiveness almost straight away. What I really appreciated was how they also equipped me with the tools and strategies to continue reinforcing the training at home. The whole team clearly cares about the dogs in their program, and the results speak for themselves. If you want effective training in a supportive environment, Allbreeds is the place to go.
Tim & his team @ K9 Boot camp are a very caring & amazing team they have done an amazing job with my wee boy I can honestly say he is a totally different wee boy.
