They find people who "need" their service, and teach them how to find a job on their own for $3+ K. They'll tell you there is a refund if there is no placement, but then not refund you. Avoid. Just direct message recruiters. It's the same thing. That's the course.
I was sending my business connections that were searching for work in their direction. After some awful experiences with poor time management and placing blame on other employees for missed and rescheduled meetings I decided to speak out. The response I received from Gabe was comical at best and dismissive. If you value time and are looking for a career skip this company. If you are trying to find quality talent and value a recruiting process that results in long term employment, I would also skip this company. Zero accountability for poor experiences and an arrogant attitude that is typical for a Bay Area "CEO" 🙄
To whom it may concern, My partner enrolled in your course but was dissatisfied on the first day and has made repeated efforts to contact you to discuss a refund or cancellation. I have also sent multiple emails without a response.We believe it is unacceptable to be charged $6,000 for a course that was not fully attended or participated in. We are feeling ignored and disrespected. If we do not receive a written response within 5 business days, we will proceed with legal action and report this to relevant consumer protection authorities. Not a good place to go for your career in Tech Sales. Pay $3,000 for not much value. I ran into a lot of petty, judgmental, google stalking, breach of contract, cut throat jobs, coat tail riding peers from this school. I'd get a job through my own talents and then 2 of Gabe's grads would be hired shortly after. People will ride your success into an org. Gabe breached the contract he had with me and kicked me out of his Slack channel as a form of retaliation. The entry level jobs you'll get are usually deadends and you'll hired and fired in 6-18 months even though the companies you work for are missing their number. One of the VP's of Sales put it in writing that he Google stalked me prior to being hired and bared me from working at the business. (Thanks Josh) Gabe is not the brightest person - very rude, if you don't follow his way it's the doorway. Just not a smart person. His students / peers are just like him. I'm sure there is back door screenings of candidates prior to being hired and eventually I took this worthless program off my resume. Sad - Very Sad.
I just finished my residency with Always Hired and had a great experience. I was placed with an exciting tech company and received an offer to continue working full-time. The sales trainers are very helpful in helping you craft your work flow - they will help you edit emails, calling scripts, and the CEO (Gabe) even hopped on sales calls with me. I would recommend AH to anyone looking to break into the tech industry!
