My daughter had a great time at summer camp at Ambo Dance Theatre, and their production of The Graham Cracker was tons of fun! I loved seeing my own body type represented in the performers, and I was so happy for my young child to see a dance production that was so inclusive, forever impacting her idea of what dance means.

A wonderful and inclusive space! The work being done by Ambo is remarkable. They go out of their way to help others learn about themselves through dance, and offer guidance as students expand outside of their comfort zone. Their engagement with the community, and dedication to not only their students but to performance is impressive to say the least. Couldn't recommend them enough

Ambo Dance Theatre is an amazing place to dance for youth, teens, and adults. It is extremely inclusive. They welcome all body types, gender identies, and dance levels. Unlike most studios Ambo has classes that are just for adults and not teen/adult classes. I am an adult dancer and I prefer to take class with other adults because I am no longer able to do all the things young limber teens can do. So it is so nice to have this option. Ambo Dance Theatre is also unlike most studios because they provide performance opportunities other than just dance recitals. For example, they just finished doing their Christmas show called The Graham Cracker (a Nutcracker parody). It included the adults, teens, and youth. Earlier this year the teens did a murder mystery dance show which was very entertaining, and the adult company members (yes, they have an adult dance company) went on a 3 stop dance tour just to name a few. They have community classes that include partnering, modern, and dance improvisation as well as technique classes that focus on honing your dance skills. If you are looking for a new dance home I highly recommend checking out Ambo Dance Theatre!

Our 6 year old participated in a kid's dance class this past year at Ambo and absolutely loved it! She looked forward to class every week! The teachers are amazing with kids, it's a great combination of age appropriate dance lessons and fun. Highly recommend!
