Nice selection of wine. Mike is incredibly knowledgeable on all wines and this is locally owned, not a franchise which is a plus!
I came in here for the first time with my boyfriend after shopping at the walking store next door. As soon as I decided on which wine I wanted, the old short man who works there started following us, so I tried to make conversation and just felt like I was being “watched” for stealing.(which I do not do) He just stood and watched right next to us while we were trying to check the store out. Neither of us have any intent to steal, I just felt profiled. I continued on trying to shop but with the old man following me around it made me so uncomfortable, even after I tried to make light convo with them. This was the most weird awkward experience. I get protecting your store but I just felt this was really wrong. We did spend about $100 and honestly I wish I spent it at another liquor store where I know i won’t be profiled.
Didn't have exactly what I was looking for, but the person who I felt might be the owner was very helpful. He got online to see who made what I was looking for and then helped me find who in town would stock such an item. He went far above and beyond what was expected. With customer service like that they have made me a customer for life.
Love this place. I don't go there for the products honestly. The staff is more than worth the price of admission so to say. Extremely knowledgeable and will happily have a conversation with you about anything under the sun. My guy that knows his brews and his fine brown spirits.... This is a shout out to you!
Mike is awesome! Knowledgeable and explains everything very well to somebody that knows nothing about wine. If you are a tourist I recommend come in and chatting with him so he can give you advice on Alaska wine gems. Keep up the good work guys!
