Appleway florist is the best fo helping you with all your floral and gift needs!!! This is my only florist I go to! Thank you again for the beautiful arrangement for my daughter’s birthday!!
My father made a special order of a “5” and “0” for his 50th wedding anniversary, he wanted to recreate the “16” arrangement he gave to my Mom on their 16th wedding anniversary…what he received for the number 5 was some floral foam held together with some floral tape/ribbon, NO backing and NO way to hang it on the stand provided, (in fact there were 3 different stands, all different heights so no way to hang them side by side evenly). The staples provided to him to hang it just pulled through the foam, as again, there was NO backing to support it. We had to come up with an old board to stabilize it in order to get it hung last minute before my Mom walked in on us, (it just kept folding into the 3 pieces of foam when you picked it up), and so it would SOMEWHAT look like a “5”, (it actually looked more like an “S” and nobody understood WHY he would’ve ordered “SO” not “50”)…he went ahead and accepted it and paid the full price of $260 as he didn’t have anything else to give my Mom that day and he HONESTY didn’t know what else to do, he was SO deeply disappointed!!! I understand that he should pay for the flowers at least, but when he went in to Appleway to let them know his disappointment all he basically got was “sorry”. REALLY??? The florists execution was to say the least shoddy, I honestly think a fourth grader could have done better, the apparent excuse he got was they didn’t have a “5” and had to make it, (I myself was able to google a number 5 floral form with a plastic backing even and they had weeks to do so!). I have NEVER, EVER left a bad review or made a complaint to a company, but I’m drawn to do so in this instance as the look on his face AND dejected reaction showing me what he received was heartbreaking!!!!! The guests were even appalled it was sent out that way as ALL of us have heard what a great florist Appleway is, in fact THEY are the ones that encouraged me, AND my Dad, to reach out. He won’t get a “do over” for his 50th anniversary gift, but maybe a little more empathy than just a “sorry”, and a partial refund would have been a MUCH better way to garner goodwill with a heartbroken husband, AND daughter!!!!! Do better Appleway 😡
We asked for both wedding bouquets and centerpieces and they came out BEAUTIFUL. The process of designing our look with Heather was so easy and she responded to emails so quickly, payment was easy and delivery was flawless!
Appleway Florist & Greenhouse has delivered perfect flowers every time I’ve ordered them! In my opinion they are one of the best and most reliable flowers providers I have ever used and that is why I’m writing this review for them! I will post two of my most recent purchases and I will say my wife loved them!
I ordered 2 corsage and a boutonnière. They were so beautiful!!!! Lots of sparkle. The wrist bracelet to hold the flowers was all diamond like. The ribbon also sparkled and complimented the flowers. I love their nursery too. I go there every year to buy my garden flowers. Such a variety
