This place will get you right. The body treatments were phenomenal. My skin was so refreshed afterwards. The acupressure was nice. She found muscles I did not know I have.
I’ve been coming to Aqua Day Spa in San Diego for years, and it has never failed to impress me. Even though it’s changed a bit over the years (probably due to inflation), the vibe has always stayed the same peaceful, relaxing, and worth every visit. I do miss the warm tea, fresh fruit, and cookies they used to serve, but the service here remains absolutely top-notch. The staff truly work hard and provide amazing care. You just can’t beat an ice cucumber facial followed by a warm milk bath after a long day it’s pure bliss. It’s no surprise so many nurses and busy professionals come here to recharge. I don’t live in California anymore, but every time I visit, I make it a point to stop at Aqua Day Spa. I hope this review helps someone decide to treat themselves you won’t regret it!
I wish I could go once a month...these women exfoliate your entire body once inch at a time, then a massage, then a facial with fresh cucumber, then they wash your hair and cover you in warm coconut milk. My body and soul are rejuvenated. This also includes a sauna, hot steam room, cold plunge, jacuzzi and a Himalaya salt room.
I've been to this spa two times, the first time for a massage and I used the amenities. I was burned with the hot stones many times, I was exposed on the massage table due to inappropriate draping , keeping the door open while elderly person trying to find his room "in the private room areas" I was slapped on my feet and armpit during the massage which I found odd! No communication whatsoever due to the language barrier! All of the above is okay! However, what I experienced today almost made me vomit! Poo in the sauna area! I came out of the sauna, and found a poo spot on the towel from the sauna seat/tile. I left immediately and was refunded! Please be careful, take your business somewhere clean and professional!
