Of course the croissants are absolutely mind-blowing, but can we talk about the CCC? This has been elevated to my favorite chocolate chip cookie in SF (my previous #1 was Batter). The outer edges are ultra chewy and caramelized, while the inside is chewy, and there is a layer of bittersweet chocolate of the highest quality through the center. Truly perfection. I tried the chocolate croissant and it’s an absolutely massive pillowy layered and buttery dream. The bittersweet chocolate inside was still a bit melted. I would share it unless you’re very hungry—it’s super large! I went on a Wednesday morning around 9 AM and the line was about 6 deep but moved very quickly. I would happily wait longer and it would still be worth it!
There is definitely a wait but the pastries are worth it. The chocolate almond croissant was stuffed and the chocolate chip cookie was amazing! The kougin amann was flaky and not too sweet! So good! Highly recommend!
Wanted to come to this bakery since I heard they have the best almond croissants. I was so happy I finally made it, the chocolate almond croissants are the best. The line is not bad at all for a Sunday early afternoon. When I got the croissant, it felt heavy. I was worried it would be too heavy, but no, the filling is smooth and perfect, croissant is buttery and perfect layered, it literally melts in the mouth. The cranberry coconut scone is very good as well. The ones I enjoyed most is plain croissant, light, puffy, perfect.
Delicious pastries! The chocolate croissant was generously filled and wonderfully tender on the inside. The kouign amann was incredible- beautifully laminated with the perfect, caramelized top. The morning bun was nothing special, but it’s tough to follow up a kouign amann that delicious. Service was quick and very friendly. Prices were very reasonable. I’ll be back! Thank you!
Amazing almond croissant — super buttery, flaky, and totally worth it. Go early to get the fresh batch; we waited about 15–20 minutes in line, but it moved fast. Definitely one of the best almond croissants I’ve had!
